Dale Gribble Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Has anyone ever successfully assembled an old AMT semi chassis ??? I don’t think I’ve ever gotten one of the half dozen or so attempts right Over the years ...
Force Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 I have done a few over the years, they are not unbuildable, you just have to have patience and go slow and test fit a lot. So they are nothing you put together quickly with super glue as you might have to adjust along the way to square them up and get them right.
Fat Brian Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 As Hakan said, it takes a lot of fitting to get the parts to go together correctly and run straight. I might spend an entire day filing and fitting and adjusting to get the thing to true up.
DrKerry Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 I'll be getting at least one of these for sure!!!!
Luc Janssens Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Chris (Hpiguys workshop) is building one at the moment, video will air???

A project for when I retire in 5 or do years. 1
