Well I've finally finished my two Lister Knobbly's.  They're only curbside but sit well with my other 50's sports racers. Having started with a single ratty fibreglass slot car body I'm pretty happy.  The green and yellow car is my interpretation of Archie Scott-Brown's last win in a Lister before his first ever loss to another Lister, driven by Masten Gregory, then trying to stay ahead of Masten at Spa and crashing fatally. The burgundy car is a fictitious Chev powered American racer.  Both are finished in auto acrylic.

Tks for looking

They look great! Did you pull a second body from the fiberglass plug?

Hi Bernard, no, I did a lot of work to the plug and put it into silicon. See " on the work bench"

Just brilliant work Dave. They may look simple but it's quite obvious that a lot of work goes into your builds and your knowledge of the old style sports racers also shines through in the final result. Well done.

Superb British racers! We have a family friend who has a classic car workshops where he rebuilds these and runs them for gentleman racers.

Great job on both of the builds. I always liked the Listers, I hope to put together a slot car soon based on an ASB car.

Outstanding replicas!  Well done.

Absolutely - especially when you look at your staring point and compare this with the final results !!!
