damodelguy az
took a 49 merc woody kit and a front from a 49 ford coupe, then i had a resin 51 ford i hadnt built yet so i molded and made me a 51 grille, use the alumilite mini casing kit. whalla, i make relief cuts here and there sometimes to widen, flatten, shift and narrow. enjoy, ford has another idea. built on 2/26/

Phildaupho
Very well done conversion. The 49/50/51 Ford Woodies are one of my favourite body styles of all time. I fabed one up over 25 years ago which was no where as nice as yours.
carrucha
Nice work on the conversion. Well built and finished. Good choice of wheels and tires. I might try this conversion myself. I was thinking of building a 1949 Ford woody using the Merc kit. Edited August 3, 2019 by carrucha
bisc63
That color scheme is outstanding! The paint really complements the wood tones, and vice versa.
Claude Thibodeau
Hi! Great mash-up idea... turned out well! If I may... what is the yellow Ford pick-up in the background of one of the opening pix? Looks like the Testor's Boyd Smoothster nose/fenders with a cab... Mash-up or kit combo? Just curious, it looks sharp! CT
