You'll love it!!....drys fairly quickly when mixed properly....drys freaking rock hard!!...can be cleanly/easily scribed...sands easily enough, and can EASILY keep a sharp edge!!  Nothing i've used it on has ever shrunk either!!.......the rear hump on this Jag was done 20+ years ago!!

Nice work on the arches, they should look sweet with those wiiiiide wheels. Now I need to find milliput to try. Quick question about it, can it be used to make things like bumpers that dont have support behind the milliput?

That looks great.  Certainly a nice stance, intelligent and well-thought out upgrades throughout, while the color choice made will surely set it apart.  Thanks for sharing...

While i was waiting for things to dry, i decided that i had nothing to lose trying to fix that Horrible distortion in the windscreen. I had the idea that maybe if i cut it out, that might fix it.....NOPE. My next step was to sand the heck out of the inside of it to flatten it out, and you know what.....IT WORKED GOOD ENOUGH!!

-Photo 1&2; As you can see, even after cutting out the windscreen, the distortion is still very bad!

-Photo 3-7; these photos show the HUGE difference sanding the inside of the windscreen made!!!

Nice work on the 'glass'.  I've been thinking Novus 2 is too harsh and Novus 1 too tepid for words, while (again) Tamiya comes up with something that proves superior.  If it might matter, sometimes I'll go over my clear plastic with a very wet application of Mequiar's Quik Wax which seems to help too.  Indeed - I'm hoping our Michigan weather doesn't quickly morph into something terrible.  Trimming my Jo-Han Javelin glass and fitting it tightly to the resin shell I'm using will be dreary work enough, although getting the front  and rear screens in good enough condition to confidently use would help too!  Kind regards...

Well done on the glass Dann. This is exactly what I've done on mine, though mine is not polishes out yet. Good to see how well it came out on yours.

Are you going to use the kit side glass, or make new one?

that wheel flare treatment is nice and simple definitely going go try that. this is a nice build

Thanks, Jason!!, its always worked out good for me, and if you want them to be separate pieces, then you burnish down masking tape on the body, then shape the putty over it. Once dry, you can carefully remove it.....Milliput dries rock hard when mixed properly. Its one of the UK's greatest modeling products!!

Thanks, Bud!!, i recently decided to sand smooth, and re-polish the outside, and i think it improved it a little bit more...not much, but still its 10x's better than it was!  Nine times out of ten, All my builds get new, scaled-down side glass....this one will too -if ever a kit needed it, lol

Hey, everyone!, i finally have The body of this one ready for paint as well!  Using styrene strip, i was able to Remake the mesh framework, and i was able to leave a lip for the mesh to attach too.

-Photos 1-3; I would rather make the strips longer that to measure. Its easy-peasy to trim it off.

-Photo 4&5; All cleaned up ready for primer!

-Photo 6; I also decided that the front wheels were too deep for me, so i changed the offset, and i'm happy now.

Nice mods.  It's crazy this kit oats what it does when it is still an old motorized kit with no engine.  The widened  wheels look great.  I build the Testors one years ago and from what I have seen the new kits are not much different.

Thanks, Rex!, this kit has alot of good points, but the windows, and interior arent one of them. I've never seen center column controls like these on ANY Pantera. I love the Testors ones too....i'm building one of those too, but i have a motor going in it.

That window is a fantastic improvement. Where do you get your Tamiya polish? Tamiya America has not listed it for years and no hobby shops have it.

I'll have to look at the Milliput that I got, must be different than yours because it didn't get really hard.  I'll have to look for that Tamiya polish!  Looking good Dann the man!
