jsc Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 (edited) It's been a long time since I've posted anything, but the other day I pulled from my stash Revell's 1964 GTO. This kit is dated 1998, and I really didn't have a lot of interest in it. But I was pleasantly surprised at how well it went together and how solid it feels! I'm not the best builder, but I really like the way it turned out. I guess one good thing about CoronaVirus is that it got me thinking about old kits. I hope you are all staying well and enjoying some extra building time. Edited April 16, 2020 by jsc
espo Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Great looking GTO. Considering the age of this kit it builds well and you have an option to make into a hardtop.
NOBLNG Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Really nice! I have a monogram’64 GTO I am slowly working on. I hope mine turns out this well.
jsc Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 Thanks so much! You are right, espo, one of the options is to make it into a hardtop, but since most of mine are hardtops, I thought a coupe would be a bit different
BeakDoc Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Sweet looking GTO. Crisp work on the trim and engine bay.
Scalper Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Nice work. I’m working on this kit right now. Loving it. You did a really good job.
Metalmad Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Looking Good ! I have this kit & thinking about building it with the parts pack 421

jsc Posted April 17, 2020 Author Posted April 17, 2020 Thank you all. If you can find this kit, and like GTOs, it would be worth your while. I was pleasantly surprised!
Geno Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Got mine lol. It is a great kit. Pictured with the Franklin Mint convertible.
