Could barely get out of its own way. Handled okay on dry roads, but on rain it was like snow, and on snow it was darn near undriveable. I understand they got better and better mechanically as they went, but the '79-'84s were better looking. The later ones were uglier. If I ran across an '80 or '81 Cobra in black with the green graphics, though, if it were at an attractive price, I'd give very serious consideration to buying it. Those were pretty sharp looking. A friend of mine has a fairly clean 83 gt he's asking 6k for it. It's a rust free 5 speed car. iamsuperdan
My "most wanted" list has been pretty static for years now. 1992 Porsche 964 RS. Maritime Blue would be perfect, but any colour works, the louder the better! 1991-1993 Chev C1500 454SS - I don't care what year, or what colour it is. And I have wanted a big old 70s station wagon for ages. Ford, Plymouth, whatever. Fake wood? Bring it on.

Bucket T
Been looking for a 20's to early 30's coupe for a long time. Have to find a trustworthy seller. Don't want to really use facebook or ebay. This would be nice. Built by Matt Seret, but doesn't exist in this form any longer.

Mike C.
My friend had a GS 400back in high school. Bought it off a little old lady for $2,500 back in the early 80s. White/blact int., black vinyl top, post coup The thing looked like it just drove out of the showroom. A drunk driver removed it from the earth Halloween night 1986. My friend went to go collect his stuff out of the car after he got out of the hospital. He couldn't even save the star wars air cleaner. 😫

He had this car converted to a street car. I saw this car in LA on the sunset strip when I was a kid. My cousin and I were riding our bikes and were all over this car. It was parked on the sunset strip and Dino Martin came out and said to be careful around the car. We had ice creams and just sat by the car. It was fly yellow. The best yellow paint job I have ever seen. A few months later the car was in motor trend magazine. This was one of the pictures out of the magazine. Rockford
1957 Chevy Bel Air, pillarless, hardtop, sports coupe. I'd like Rochester Ramjet Fuel Injection on it too so it was one of the "One horsepower per cubic inch!" cars. Mind you then there's the 59 Cadillac, the 455SD Firebird, the 59 Impala, the split window Corvette...... D'oh! It's never going to happen. The 57 Chevy was my first love though. I saw it in a book years ago and couldn't take my eyes off it. How could a mass producer of cars make something so beautiful? This little lad in Liverpool in the 70s was converted to American metal immediately.

You should build a model of your dream car along with the others that you like. That is one of the beautiful things about our hobby. You can create whatever you want or even whatever you once owned. Correct! I'll never be able to own the real thing so own them in a smaller size. I very much intend to.
