Slotto Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Revell '37 Ford Coupe inspired by a '36 I saw on the web. I got this kit from my In-laws a few years ago for Christmas. I wasn't that fond of the pre war cars when I got it but after recently tackling the '40 Ford pickup, I had a change of heart. I didnt care for the wheel choices offered with this kit so based on my inspiration I opted for steelies. They are from the '58 Impala kit. This build didnt pose many challenges other then the inner fenders. I left them out so I could squeeze all the lowness I could get out of her. I did get a bit of glue on a side window so I had to make that piece. Other than that, shes box stock. Create smart olive green mixed with a little black covered with Krylon matte clear. How the sausage was made Thanks for looking 4
Joe Nunes Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Great looking model. Has that "tough guy" look to it and sits just right. Well done! ? Joe 1
Zippi Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Super fine looking 37 Sedan Steve. Gotta love those fat fenders. 1
Chevy II Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Really like this car. How did you get it so low. 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Great stance for a fat fender car like that! Love the colour! Nicely done! 1
70 Sting Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 The stance is perfect. Wheel and body combo look great together. Trying to picture who could have driven a ride like this back in the ‘30’s. :^) 1

Calb56 Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 This is one of those models that I look at and realize, "Yep, I'd drive that 1:1". Very cool build. 1
