  1. That really is not correct. Revell lost the Goodyear license and their kits in the 2000's were hollow tires without the Goodyear markings.

  5. That is beautiful work Pat!
  6. There is momentum building across the country to stop adjusting the clocks every six months. Most proposals are to stay on DST year round. As a kid, I remember the federal government required everyone to stay on DST year round to save energy. This was I believe during the Ford administration. One of the unintended consequences of this change was that a record number of kids got hit by cars going to school in the morning because it was dark. Times may have changed with the way kids get to school now, but it is something that should be considered. I for one would like to stop changing the clocks. As I get older, I seem to have a tougher time adjusting to DST.
  7. Great looking diorama! Your attention to the details is outstanding.
  8. Outstanding craftsmanship! Really great looking model.
  9. First and foremost, there is no such thing as a cheap hobby. As far as the young people, they have no problems plunking down the money for a Gundum kit as others have written. They also have no problems plunking down about $60 - $70 for a video game. The money is there if they are interested in building models.
  10. I built the Revell kit a number of years ago as a Christmas gift to my son. He was around 8 at the time. He really liked it. I remember construction being a little fiddly, but when it was done, I thought it looked good.
  11. Another spectacular build Tim! Looks really great.

  19. The Taurus from the late 1990's was the first 4 - door car raced in NASCAR Cup since at least the 80's.
  20. They will sue EVERYBODY who had anything to do with the production of the car. As far as the insurance companies, every liability policy here in the States has a clause that the insurer will not pay if there is other applicable insurance coverage. Since insurance is regulated at the state level, it will be up to the state statutes or case law to determine who pays. The worst possible situation to be in is a claim where two or more insurance policies may apply to a claim. A lawsuit involving a self driving car will take a decade or more to sort itself out.
  21. In the picture below, the black from the A pillar to the C pillar was done in Sharpie and cleared with Future. There were no runs or streaking.
