  8. As poorly as my friends and I played street ball, that car would not have been in any danger of being hit.
  9. I build primarily race cars. This was built in the 1980's Here is one I recently completed.
  10. The legendary coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers - Chuck Noll - would tell his players this: "If I have to motivate you, I will fire you!" What this meant was motivation that lasts comes from within a person and not from outside influences. There will always be the "Negative Nellies" as I call them and they are in every group, every company and every organization. And I will be darned if they don't always find each other. These people do nothing but tear things down. They will never build something up. My suggestions are to find what motivates you from within and build on that. The second is when you run into the negative people, don't let them bring you down. Their negativity is all on them, and they only succeed when they infect others.
  11. A member of this site named BigTallDad does the following. I have not tried it, but have the hardware to do it. Just have not had the project that requires the bent tubing, but am interested enough that I will use this technique the next time I need to bend some tubing. Hope this helps.

  19. Having lived in Chicago at this time. I remember there being only 3 kinds of cars on the road. 1. New cars 2. Rusted cars 3. Cars with accident damage Yours is a very convincing replica of what was common for the upper Midwest at that time.
