  1. She fought a very valiant fight with cancer. Unfortunately, the disease won.
  2. Unfortunately time marches on and does not stop for anybody.
  3. It will be interesting to see how the spending cap works. There are a number of drivers who make more than the cap. The manufacturers have been lobbying for a hybrid type of system for this generation of car. Mike Helton said that if this is the way they go the chassis will require significant modifications. The smaller teams have been lobbying for a spending cap with the principal or Richard Petty Motorsports leading the discussions. The sport is changing, but it has to change. The simple fact of the matter is that the money is not there anymore and even the big teams are being pinched. If they take the construction of many of the parts out of the race shops, it will make the sport cheaper. A number of people will lose their jobs. This is not good, but it can be argued that the teams should not been permitted to get as big as they did in the first place.

Great job! I really like it a lot. I remember watching this show as a kid. Couldn't wait for school to end so I could get home and watch the show. Once got into a fist fight with another kid over something that either did or didn't happen in a show. I don't recall either of us landing a punch; although it wasn't from a lack of effort.
  7. Great work! Looks outstanding.
  8. Thanks for the information Bill. I greatly appreciate it and will look into your suggestions. I spoke to the dealership after I bought the car to see about disabling the system and the tech said I couldn't. He said the the '18's and 19's can be turned off, but not the 17's. I will be interested to see if I was told the truth.
  9. Good luck everybody. Be safe.
  10. Great job Michelle. Is that the AMT or Revell kit? I built the Revell several years ago and it turned into quite a wrestling match on final assembly. Yours looks real clean.

Looks very nice. I like it a lot.
  12. This is too sad. I have heard some say that it's not the number of years you have, but what you get out of the years that you have. I hope that is the case here. She died way too young. As I seem to recall, Jessi got her start in the television world as an intern on the Mythbusters. If I am thinking of the same person, they gave her some screen time on the show, and she seemed to be a natural working in front of the camera.
  13. Hey Bill, how much sooner are you seeing these systems fail? I bought a '17 Malibu about 2 years ago because a young guy totaled my '99 Lumina. I creep a lot when driving this car. If I see a light will change soon or the light has changed, and I am waiting for the line to start moving, I do everything I can to prevent the car from shutting down. Some ridicule me for doing this, but I don't see how it benefits the car having it shut down and restart so frequently.
  14. Great work! Looks really outstanding.
  15. Very nice. Quite refreshing to see a Ferrari in a color other than red.

Great job! I agree, it looks mean.
  17. Great job! The color really pops.
  18. Great job Michelle. I really like the color.
  19. Great work! Looks outstanding.
  20. Very interesting looking car. Making body templates for it would be really fun!
  21. Really stellar Kevin! I think this is a great build.
  22. Looks great! It never ceases to amaze at how enormous some cars from this era are. By the way, I hope you can get your personal life sorted out. If this is not going well, very little else seems to.
  23. Looks great! I like it a lot.
