  1. I have painted in my garage when the temperature in the garage was in the 30's. I left the parts in the garage because my wife is really sensitive to the fumes. I will bring the paint back in the house.
  2. Very nice Johnny! If a model lets you relive part of your youth, that's great. Hope you are feeling better.
  3. Very interesting Michelle. Did you create the files for the 3D printing?

    Looks great Michelle!
  7. The red is a neon color. I have read where it has been called Racing Red or Rocket Red. As far as the decals are concerned, you will have no problems finding the Petty decals. I did some quick looking and I do not think there is an aftermarket option for the Folgers decals. I built that kit a number of years ago using the kit decals and it turned out pretty good.

    The Fire Chief

Great job! I like it a lot.
  9. Looks very nice!
  10. That is some top shelf building. Superb!
  11. Driving into work this morning the car's thermometer read 1 degree. I believe we were -15 to -20 with the wind chill. High of 19 degrees. Looks like 27 tomorrow. I know many of you are dealing with colder temps than these, but the average high for us around here is supposed to be in the 50's. The hot weather will be here before too long and we will be complaining about it as well.
  12. Great job Tim! Really outstanding work.
  13. Both look real nice. You did a great job!

  17. Great job! The wood look in the bed is outstanding!
  18. Great job Mark. Really stunning build.
  19. That's too bad. I enjoyed his work. I remember several years ago, Sam designed the trophy for Kentucky Speedway ( I think) and Kyle Busch won. The trophy was a guitar. Busch did his best Pete Townsend impersonation and destroyed the trophy in Victory Lane. The network showed Sam Bass as Busch was going through his antics. It was hard for me to tell whether he was amused or perturbed. Later, Sam said he thought it was funny. I am not sure I would take to kindly to seeing someone destroy a piece of art I worked hard to create.
  20. Oh man, I feel for you. Several years ago, we had neighbors on the east and west of us that had dogs. The guy to the east would come home from work and let the dog out and then keep it our all evening. All it would do is bark. This is the side of the house where our living room is. The idiots on the west let their dogs out for the night. They would bark all night long. This is the side of our house where our bedroom is. When we got home from work, until we left for work in the morning, all we heard was barking dogs. One's mind can go to some real dark places at times like these. The people on the west finally moved. The guy to the east got a girlfriend and she would not let the dog bark.
  21. Looks real good. When trying to paint over red or yellow plastic, put down a coat of silver paint. Then spray the primer and then the color coat. That should take care of the bleed through problems.
