  1. Here is a pic of Sven's Pinto build where you can see the chassis in question
  2. Well, they brought back the Jolly Roger, why not this?
  3. I think the Advent kit was the Revell kit, which is pretty bad compared to the AMT kit. I do have the AMT kit at home and I will compare the chassis against the last issue of a Logghe car, the Cougar and Judge, and see if they are even close or the same. I also have the Pinto, Gremlin and Vega.
  4. So, from what i read in an article written by Tim Boyd, the kit had a stock body in it and used a Logghe style chassis, and apparently, the chassis was shortened to fit under the Vega, Gremlin and Pinto bodies. Thus, unless they restore the chassis tooling, this kit is not likely to come back.
  5. I am lucky to have one, the Red version, and it was miles ahead of the Revell kits! Yes, this would be a nice kit to get back!!
  6. Great trade with '70 Grande and would gladly trade with again! Thanks, Mark!
  7. I don't care how the guy presents the stuff, as long as we are still getting some kits back! Yes on the Pacer and the Rig. Don't care about die cast or slot cars.
  8. Yes, those have to rank up there for the worst tires ever made, followed by two piece tires from the 70's! How about the tires from the last issue of the Revell Datsun 510?
  9. Nice project! I plan on building a drag version, but a bit less radical!
  10. Yes! This is awesome! Glad to see it built!! Sure does bring back memories and it actually looks way better than I remembered it. Need to get me one now! Great build and don't stop building the classics!!
  11. It's just that I don't want to build them, and I really won't be able to build that many! , but I do like opening a box of a vintage kit and just looking at the parts. There is something quite peaceful about an untouched kit that is still minty fresh. Especially and old one. Off the top of my head, my MPC 67 Firebird, MPC 66 Monaco and Aurora Racing Scenes stuff will never get built. Ok, maybe some of the Aurora stuff will
  12. Oh so nice! I always wanted a convertible Ghia, but, could never get my hands on one without spending a fortune, even in the 80's!
  13. I am lucky to have The Moon Mixer, T-Bone Stake and the Medicine Show kits. I have an empty Der Guber Wagen box and would love to have it and the Meter Cheater! Anybody have some they would like to trade?
  14. Nice to see another one so nicely built! Nice job!!
  15. I don't see anything amateur about this, it looks awesome! Nice build!!
  16. So, what will you take in trade?
  17. Picked up an AMT Lil Hot Dogger at Hobby Lobby since they, and a few other kits, are on clearance sale! Also, the Michael's I shop at still has the same kits from a couple of years ago, but, they have Starsky and Hutch Torinos, so I used my 50% off coupon and bought another one!!
  18. I like it!
  19. And that confirms it!
  20. This has to be one of the best Two Much builds I have ever seen! Very nice!!
  21. I predict there will be serious excitement, followed by serious whining!
  22. It was a series of C Cab style vehicles that all shared the same platform but came in different guises and where released in the early 70's. There where about 5 different versions. I know that the T Bone Stake and the Medicine Man where issued as and Advent model and it was also offered to the Model Builders Club members, but I have never seen them re-issued. I for one would love to see them all come back!
