To my knowledge, no. Most of the bodies out there are re-pops of the Charlie Allen Dart. The Rams Dart was a weird bird and to make it accurate, quite a bit would have to be scratch built. I am surprised that someone like Speed City Resin has not done one. But, you never know!

This car was raced under the Ramchargers team name, but, it was not a real team car. So, yes, it may not be as original as they claim since the car war built and raced from the early 70's until the 80's They ran Dodge cars and it was only after they just became a parts division that they allowed these Plymouth cars to be run under their banner. I would just paint the interior black

It was a Hot Rod issue and I think I have it somewhere. Back then, any thing was up for grabs when it came to Low Riding! Lowered on Supremes, Montgomery Wards Whitewalls and Tuck N Roll interiors and a sweet paint job. Simple.

Then don't buy it, but if you do, don't expect a custom paint job out the box and then cry when it looks like one of Earl Sheib's flunky painted it! Stupid is buying it and expecting something great! Especially something aimed at kids who don't care and will most likely throw it back in the box after they mess it up. Then you can buy it for a $1 at their parents yard sale!

Well, that fine finish might be why Aoshima kits are quite a bit more than Revell kit. Revell pre painted kits are quick builds and aimed at younger builders. Aoshima are almost shake and bake type kits for the older set.

Only MPC, AMT and Aurora made HUG kits, and the Aurora kit is in 1/32nd scale. From what I have heard, the kit was supposed to really be the Plymouth Dealers Barracuda that was driven by Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen, but, for some reason, it was not done and turned into the HUG car. As you can see, it is really close to the kit, with the exception being that it is a '65 and the kit is a '66. The car was later driven by Fred Goeske, who took over after McEwen crashed the car in a freak accident. As you can see, the HUG has a stock front end and the engine sits farther back, as where the PD car has the layout we see in the kit. Engine right behind the driver and separated by the large firewall. The PD car was supercharged and the HUG was injected. So yes, you can use this kit to build either car with some mods and a donor body!
