  1. Well, if its good enough for Revell to fake it, then I guess its ok The Cal Charger 1/16th kit shares the same engine with the Tony Nancy kit, the only difference being the relocated distributor and the valve covers. So, go for it!
  2. There are some serious differences between these engines. The only thing they share is the Hemispherical combustion chambers. Same car, different setups But, it is your build and you can do as you see fit. 392 Chrysler 426 Hemi
  3. Very nice and clean! I like it!
  4. Couldn't get one without the other!
  5. Nice work, Drew! I like it!
  6. If you are going to open the doors, make sure they are done well. I have dealt with folks who opened doors for contest models and where shocked they did not even place. I kindly explained to them, after they asked me why, that if they had done it properly and not with a hot butter knife, they may have placed better. So yes, neatness counts, alot!
  7. You made a kooky kit look good! Nice!
  8. This is too cool! Nice job!
  9. And I like how the scoop is on backwards, on this toy!
  10. Almost looks like the Revell modeling buck. Neat!
  11. Other than the bodies, the Polar Lights funnies are all the same. The frames can be a bit fuzzy, but with patience, they look good. Everything else is pretty straight forward. But then again, its been a while since I built one.
  12. Nice work! I like it!
  13. That is just very cool! Nice job!
  14. I would just clean it up and put it on my shelf. Nice score!
  15. Nice job, Drew! And back at ya!
  16. That is a nice build! Glad I have one of these in my stash!
  17. Forgot about those! Thanks for the reminder!
  18. I hear ya, Casey. I am just glad they have not totally abandoned us large scale drag fans. But yes, a different car, i.e. car owner, would have been great. I am lucky I have the Pabst and Willie Borsch decals, now, if someone would just make the Don Garlits or Spaulding Dodge car, then we would get some excitement going!
  19. The nearest HL to me is in Temecula, north of San Diego and 60 Miles away! There go the savings!
  20. Looks like a bit of tin work surgery will have to be done to get that body down! And I hope Revell will sell us those tires and wheels in bulk to replace the old crappy ones! REVELL!!! SELL US JUST THE WHEELS AND TIRES!!!!!
  21. They did run the '68 Hemi Road Runner with a '69 Grille and side markers at one time. So, it could be a HEMI and they also ran a '69 GTX with a 440 Either way, nice build!
  22. Buy them and put them away if you are a speculator. They may be worth something and then again, maybe not. Only time will tell.
  23. New episodes are up! Check them out
