  1. Why can't they do a video like this for the car guys?
  2. Nice! That is a very nice conversion.
  3. Because any 4 Cylinder was an Iron Duke to any old guy! Honestly, I had many an Old Timer, someone at least 25 years older than me, tell me that they ran those Iron Duke engines, and that they came in the Chevy II and the Pontiacs.
  4. Was it in the kit? I have never seen this kit in person
  5. Hope they leave the Funny Car parts in it
  6. So, you take an Airfix 1/24 P-51 Mustang and a Revell '40 Ford.....
  7. I guess I need to get me a Starliner and compare it to the old one. Thanks for the info
  8. I think it was around 2012 that Round 2 bought them out.
  9. Catalina was issued originally in 1998 and I think the Starliner dates back to the 60's
  10. And honestly, I have been thinking of starting to collect this series of kits. But please, don't tell anybody! I should just buy this kit and load it with vending machines!
  11. How many vending machines do we need?
  12. Looks like a Double Dip is coming, and I am sure a Triple not far behind.
  13. Great build. That is one sexy machine! Can't wait for them to hit the shelves!
  14. So, has anyone mentioned if it can be built stock? ? Seriously, some of you need to chill for a bit. It is just a box of plastic that you can buy or pass on. Now back to regular questions, like can it be built into a Coronet or something? ? Does it come with a stock hood......and so on.
  15. Thanks, that has to be one of my all time favorite kits.
  16. Hopefully I can get back to some model building soon, but until then, here are some oldies but goodies.
  17. I will keep an eye out and see if they make it to Southern California
  18. It was a great way to push out old product, just rebrand it!
  19. Equipped with a Toyota 2JZ
  20. As someone who has both sold and bought off ebay, I can honestly say that the bad and good are on both sides of this coin. I sold out a collection a few years back and the amount of complaints was low, but still, some people just love to complain. One guy bought the model, complained and was refunded his money, I got the kit back, but he had stripped it of all the good parts and wheels! Yeah, that was a mess. And I have also been stung a few times by shady sellers, some who where at one time well respected vendors. And yes, shipping is a bit high on some sales, but then again, shipping is not cheap anymore. When USPS shipping is now up there close to Fed Ex or UPS, why not use them instead? As always, Caveat Emptor when shopping the bay!
