  1. Finally got one, of the two that I ordered, from my LHS. I guess someone wanted my other one pretty badly. And also, picked up an old friend! Should be a fun little build.
  2. Don't forget this beauty as well.
  3. I do and I do, but, if they already have the body rattling around somewhere, that would make it a whole lot easier,. The spy photo of the trees in dry cleaning bags showed a body, and I think the last issue of this kit in any form was as the Streaker. Hence why I would think they can do it. If not, I have a King's Comet that will gladly give it's chassis for the effort.
  4. I hope they do issue the Streaker if the tooling still exist for it. That would make a cool bookend to this kit.
  5. This is the Revell Monster Machines Kit #7501 and probably the source of the confusion
  6. Those early Japanese Warbird kits where just slap together type of models. I am amazed when someone can make something decent out of them. Even Tamiya was kind'a rough back then as well.
  7. Without a doubt, the worst kits to assemble, at least in their later re issues, are the Revell Tri Five kits. And oddly enough, they just kept making them worse and worse with things like two piece tires!
  8. Nice stock El Camino Crappy SS nose version
  9. And don't forget, that all these cars started as Stock issue kits, some modified to the point that they will never come back unless totally retooled.
  10. To me, this was the worst kit ever made when I was a kid! So many tiny little parts to make things work, and then nothing worked!
  11. Yes, looks like they used the '68 version of the kit.
  12. If you have an electronics shop somewhere near you, get some solid core wire that is close to the hose diameter you need, cut to size, paint black if needed, and install
  13. Man, I can't wait to complete the set!
  14. Hey, Atlantis! Just in case you find the tooling....
  15. And the green one also has the attachment points for the Canard Wings on the quarter panels.
  16. I don't know, but, I do know that the wheels in the Fujimi 356 Porsche kit are really nice. But, those are not cheap kits for just the wheels Not my model, image from interwebs to show wheels
  17. Why is this not in the Off Topic thread?
  18. The original was cool, and luckily, was not too heavily modified. They just added stuff to make.... The Vanbulance, which to be honest, I like more than the original.
  19. From what I read, when they made the Hangman out of it, it was way to modified to make it the Dragon Wagon again, and lots of it had to be re-tooled.
  20. Didn't know where else to dump this...
