  1. I am just amazed at the Grandstands being behind the starting line and that they go all the way to Arrow Hwy! Being a bit harsh on the art is not good, but come on, at least I am not complaining about the kit!
  2. Most of us know how the kit is, and some of us have the original already, and most of us will buy it again. Atlantis has done a great job resurrecting some vintage kits, we just wish they would resurrect great box art as well.
  3. Do they not have access to the internet for some research on what things looked like back then? At Pomona
  4. Could be, Racers are pretty resourceful types. Would be cool if AMT made the Trailer into a Parts Pack type kit.
  5. I think MPC got the idea from what the Drag Racers of the time where using.
  6. This little guy has been on my Grail list for years! Now I might be able to get a new one for cheap! Nice!!
  7. I would not do that, I would post them here to show off what I have done!
  8. Even if they did, how would you know?
  9. I really don't think people would run out to buy old, vintage and very expensive kits to hack because of this show. It is lunatics like me, that already own them, that you should be worried about! LOL! And building stock models is borderline stamp collecting! ?
  10. Yes, the Japan slicks just eventually fall flat or apart! The new slicks are basically large versions of the Monogram kit slicks that came in most Tom Daniels kits. The fronts look more like modern funny car tires. And yes, I wish they could have resurrected the Aurora tires. Tom West told me that those molds where simply abandoned in Canada!
  11. That might be due to licensing issues for Good Year I'm just glad they finally used better, and more solid tires, than before!
  12. Thanks, but I am not on Facebook
  13. Nothing like having a Shotgun in a Taxi cab! And I do see some big rigs in my future!

To learn all about it tune in on June 7th when STEVE MAGNANTE'S SUPER MODELS debuts on the Motor Trend app! https://www.instagram.com/p/CPRv42bDpjN/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
  15. Barris never missed out on a chance to make a dime, and he parted out the car. After all, it was no longer really needed.
