I have the Daisy Duke 74 Road Runner kit . I have noticed that my kit doesn't come with the Bird decals? Nice build I hope mine comes out as good as yours

Yeah I do the same thing with cans but get yourself one of the Tamiya paint stands with the springs to go inside the body. It makes it so easy to hold the body upside down . I cant remember how many times I have dropped a body shell off a can. Also get some small crocodile grips for the smaller bits hope this helps in some way. This Caddi is done with a can before wet flatting and polishing. The top pic is close up of the front Fender

Yeah I use google images all the time . Are you using rattle cans to paint ? I think if you are you need to spray a little further away from the model. Rattle cans tend to have lot of pressure in so 3/4 very light coats is better than 1/2 heavy coats. You are doing well though keep at it .

Apart from the mirror frames you never know that it was (A) a model and (B) a snap kit. Fantastic rebuild

Just for future reference MOPAR's dont have black engine bays they are body colour

Was the real truck chassis painted two tone blue like that. I only ask as I have both these kits in storage

Still looks ok as for the rest of the car it looks great. I have built 3 of these caddis . I think that they are one of Revells best kits
