  1. Okay, I do not always agree with most here on things like design. See my comments in the thread on the latest Mazda showcar others are ranting about. But, I do agree with most on the car that started this thread. That is ugly!
  2. In today's mail, Revell's 1969 Chevy Nova SS.
  3. It looks okay. Doesn't knock my socks off. I agree with Mr. Clark above. I thought of Aston Martin right away. It's a decent design. But it's missing something that makes me go, "Oh wow!"
  4. What was the "correct" engine in the Starsky and Hutch Torino? The new, non Starsky and Hutch Torino, comes with a factory stock 351 in it.
  5. I do not understand the last 4 posting here. What are these tiring to say?
  6. Ah, the good old Japanese. They love to make the strangest models. The weirdest one I ever seen, was a kit of a portable stereo boom box. What scale it was, I don't know or remember? It may have been 1/2 or 1/4? But not full size. I got a kick the box it came in, indicated the model came with a working speaker and a cord to plug it into something like.... a real boom box! I kid you not!
  7. The chopping job above is something I would not like to tackle. I can't imagine too many kids in the 60's had the skills to build a decent looking model using the technique shown above. AMT's '53 Studebaker had a much better and easier way of achieving the same thing. After seeing the above instructions, I can see why AMT did not offer the option in later releases.
  8. 9 years after the initial release of this kit, I finally got around to ordering one today. Going to build just a plain stock SS-350. No COPO or Yenko for me. I liked them the way they normally rolled out of the factory and on to show floor of your local Chevy dealer.
  9. The models just shown here in this thread above are very impressive. It looks like the guy has got talent. I'd like to see more of his work.
  10. I'm disappointed. There is nothing above that want. I have the Impala SS (built) and the '66 GTO (unbuilt). Nice kits. But do I need another one? And it's shocking to me, to realize that 1994 is already 23 years ago. Man, where has time gone?
  11. Nice job John. A very good looking model.
  12. Stunning build. Very nice.
  13. Great job. It looks good. I'm waiting forward the upcoming reissue. I like these old Jeep pickups.
  14. Wow! Very nice. '72 has always been my favorite year for Road Runners. Good job.

Never care for looks of the car. But, you did a great job on it Bert.
  16. Beautiful. Still my favorite year for Torino.
  17. Wow! Beautiful job. I'm always impressed when one modifies these Fords in the manner you have Ferby. Very clean build. And it has the right "look". Very nice.
  18. I love the blue stock one. That's exactly how I hope mine turns out. The same blue on blue, but without the hood stripes.
  19. Another nice one, Tulio. As always, I'm impressed with your builds.
  20. So I'm not the only one who has purchased the above kit. I've always liked looks of the Citation's Club Coupe body style. The hatchbacks, not so much. Revell/Monogram's Citation is nice, but. It's a bit of mishmash at it's not correct in a way that it can built as pure factory "stock" Citation. Beautiful job on both Citations NJ. I impressed. They may have been crappy little cars. But, I still like the looks of them.
  21. Looks very nice. Great job on the smaller details.
  22. I'll see if I can make it. It would be very nice to meet you.
