  1. Great models, but I just can't get over that 1/27 scaling... They really do have nice detail and such, though....
  2. I like it... I like it as a convertible, as well...
  3. I'm, relatively, new to die casts... I, only just about a year ago, discovered Nascar trucks and trailers in 1/24 scale.... I had no idea this market existed... Anyway, I converted a Nascar hauler into this 3 car hauler... It just made perfect sense to me... This is just one of about 6 I've converted, this way... I display many of my die cast cars on the backs of these things... Saves space... ?
  4. This is an awesome work... Very nice... Man, that looks cool like that....
  5. That's my model collection, in a nutshell... "Some of which I had been looking for; some I had forgotten"....?
  6. Man, that is crazy.... If you have no point of reference, this car looks great... Then you look at the actual car and think, "What is going on?" It's all scrunched up...
  7. AAAAAAHHHHH..... You're talking sense, Man... That makes perfect sense.... It all boils down to a much simpler explanation, then... So the only reason 1/27 trucks exist is because of this simple thing? Not good... I can't stand that scale, as you can't display them with much of anything, but I can see it, now... Still kinda iffy on Jada, though... Really weird...
  8. Very nice work, so far... I'm loving the pinstriping...
  9. Incredible work.... I'm looking at a piece of art... It''s awesome...
  10. Outstanding work, already.... This is going to be awesome...
  11. I really do like these old models... Man, that's a cool looking model... Can't wait...
  12. This is a great model, for sure.... I've built 2, and I really like it... If I were to give a bit of advice to save time without sacrificing the look, it would be the little clear lights you have to install all over the place.... Forget about 'em.... Use Testors white glue and add a drop in each of those little holes....Make sure they are all laid flat, now.... Let them dry, overnight and do it, again.... Then you will have great looking lights without the headache of cutting all of those little plastic pieces from the sprues.....Super simple and a serious time saver... I have a few pics, if you would like to see the finished product... Or maybe, the threads are still here...
  13. Very nice work on this, Baby... I'm loving it.... What a cool looking little model...
  14. OOOHHHH!!!! I'm having a "crisis", over here!!!! I'm TOTALLY diggin' this big orange beauty.... OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! You gotta be kidding me....
  15. Love rigids... This one looks pretty darn cool.... Looks real nice...
  16. I'm in agreement with your theory of copyright infringement as being the chief culprit in this crazy situation... I can only think of that as being the cause... There is no way these companies could be that mathematically challenged...
  17. Man, I wish I could build a paint booth that big... That's awesome, and this truck and trailer combo is going to ROCK!!!! This is the truck that started it all, for me.... My first Italeri model... I was so impressed with how well it built up, I was forever hooked... Also, I paired it up with the Italeri 48' refer trailer, and it looked good in front of that... This new 53'er will, no doubt, look seriously awesome... Great choice... Wish I'da thought of it...?
  18. Looking forward to this one.... I haven't been up in a long time, but I'm back and eager to see how you go about such a major project....
  19. I'm in total agreement with that.... Jada, Welly, and Motormax, just to name a few ought to be ashamed of themselves...?
  20. That is really cool... Very nice...
  21. I really like these, but they are super expensive...I got a lowboy from a guy a couple of years ago....Yellow.... It's funny how those Newray excavators seem to be in everything they put out, but it is, in fact, 1/25 scale... It was misrepresented in the 1/32 scale application, actually....It's a mid sized unit...I use them all the time in my "Newray overhauls", but that setup is AWESOME!!!
  22. Imagine that... Isn't that funny? Amazing how that works...?
  23. This looks pretty cool... At 1/43, that's pretty nice... I'd love to start collecting these, but Man, they're expensive...
  24. It is quite odd that they would make all their cars closer to 1/23 scale than anything else, but their trucks seem closer to scale...So weird....
