  1. Volkswagen air cooled engines the "Case's" were in two halves as the seam of the engine was down the center & same as well as for the transaxle. Both would be highly visible. The case's were made from Magnesium and if set a blaze would make a very hot bon fire out on the dunes of Waynoka OK buggy park.
  2. always a fan of the beetle bug!
  3. I wouldn't want to be the driver having to spot that contraption manually to build a set of doubles. One gnarly looking piece of ... Equipment.
  4. Very nice shelving Ken! Looks like you could make a few dollars selling those.

  11. Sharp! Both the panel van & The diorama.
  12. Nice a fine job on the cab extension. Looking at that reminds me of the Cadillac escalade on the Brooks & Dunn Cd cover "Hill Billy Deluxe". Nice touch with the 22" Alcoa wheels . The low pro tires work very well.
  13. Amen Brother. LOL lessons from the school of hard knocks!
  14. The chrome back then was triple plated & done very well. Unlike todays so called chrome plating nothing like back then. I had a 50 GMC the cab & all was rusted to beat all but the chrome it cleaned up nicely. Being this was a "Barn find" the rust would have been kept to a minimum especially if it were covered up as well. Witnessed a LOT of barn finds myself. Dead on Excellent job!
  15. Interesting concept Rob, I like it.
  16. sweet old 37!
  17. After taking and sharing pictures of your work, You suddenly realize imperfections that you couldn't see before hand but too late to correct. (Taken from past & present experience and I should use my Opti Visor more often )
