  1. Thanks Tom, and sorry for that late reply. For mine, during mock-ups, I found two things that seemed like it would help remedy that situation. I first mounted the cab to the chassis, and in doing so didn't seat the leading edge (behind the bumper) all the way down over the framerails. Then when throwing the box on I kind of repeated the process, this time with the rear mounting tabs. I believe those tabs a just slightly inserted into the holes. Pretty sure the front ones are about half way inserted. This also helped remedy the bowed-up look it had in the center like it was an old worn out plow truck. She's not completely lined up, but much, much better. This worked for me at least, don't know if it will work for all or maybe was just pure luck. I've got their '72 F250 plow truck to tackle someday and hope to get a similar result with it.
  2. Was getting ready to fry up a couple eggs for breakfast when I looked out the patio door and saw a mama with two fawns in the backyard. A third fawn popped in right after taking the pic.
  3. Now that is one great looking Dart. Who doesn't love redlines & 5 spokes on a Mopar?! Excellent build, Jason.
  4. Bravo Dan, that's a beauty! Love all the additions you added. Nice to see one in white, looks great along with the vinyl top.
  5. 73 Charger, either just bought or still trying to be sold. Hopefully it's got a better future ahead of it. And awhile back, a McLaren 570S at a gas station in Hudson, WI.
  6. Thanks again guys! You're correct in thinking that Chuck. I had missed out on purchasing one before he discontinued it for a time. I, too, have become really fond of the '70 front end.
  7. Thanks Sonny. Fireballs kit (along with the wheels/tires) includes the axles and all suspension pieces, driveshafts, and transfer case. Also a couple crossmembers for the frame to bring it to F250 spec. For the body he's included in the kit the emblems, clearance lights, and optional western mirrors (mirrors are purchased separately). I think it was 3 different choices for wheels offered as well. Everything was top notch quality and fits together well, highly recommended if your interested in building one yourself!
  8. Love the look of it, she'll look great next to the Badman.
  9. You nailed the look of it for sure! Very nice work on modifying the wheelwells & wheelbase. I always thought this was such a cool car, and you've done it justice. The real one is on display at the Museum Of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska. I snapped a bunch of pictures of it for reference for the day I attempt to build it for myself.

    '64 GTO

Sharp looking build, been some time since I've seen one built. I gotta remember transparent blue over metallic grey as I love how that looks, and it suits very well on the GTO.
  11. Wow that paint looks glass-smooth, always a challenge to get black looking this good. Well done Charger, Ken!
  12. Beautiful P-38 and back story. The Mustang is sharp too. Last fall I took a two night trip up along Lake Superior. Stopped at the Veteran's Museum in Superior, they have a replica of Bong's plane and some personal items of his. I also went to the little town of Poplar (just outside of Superior and where he grew up) and visited his grave.
  13. Sinister looking indeed! Superb build as aways Randy, love those Coronets!
  14. Wow that is a knockout, Larry! Beautiful finishes everywhere on the build.
  15. That is one outstanding build, Bill! Like it's been previously said already, everything looks spot-on factory. Love all the detail you added under the hood and the wired up receiver hitch. I'm gonna have to look at your WIP thread, as I like the modification to the dashboard. Also noticed the Montana plates, maybe our trucks have crossed paths at some point! LOL
  16. Wow, that is some transformation! Excellent work and very convincing weathering.
  17. Thanks for the wonderful comments everyone! This is only the second kit I've done some weathering to, and am enjoying this new to me added detail and learning the process. Been using the Tamiya weathering kits. Thanks Bill, that was bugging me and had to correct it!
  18. Love it! Excellent stance, color, and wheel choice. She's looking tough as nails!
  19. Moebius F100 kit bashed with Fireball Modelworks excellent F250 conversion kit. Been a few months in the making but finally finished it up yesterday. My kit was no exception to the warped hood, but got it straightened out the best I could. Same goes with getting the cab and bed lined up properly (not spot on but close). Overall a good kit to put together. Fireballs's parts and instructions were easy to work with/follow. Those Western mirrors are beautifully done, but pretty fragile and needed great care not to break them. Tamiya Maroon and Racing White are close stand-ins for Royal Maroon and Wimbledon White. The chassis was treated to some dirt and grime, as was under the hood, and a little in the interior and bed. I spruced up the engine with some go fast(er) goodies from my parts box. The dual exhaust was cobbled together from various pieces, and finished with aluminum tubing tips. Really like how she turned out. That's enough rambling for now, thanks fer lookin' and any questions and comments.
  20. Oh yeah that's killer! Very cleanly built. Usually I'm not big on grays, but this one is an exception as it suits it well. Congrats and thanks for sharing, I've been thinking of picking up this body kit as well. Iceman and Texas 3D sure make some great stuff.
  21. That is a great looking build! Lovely paint and very clean detailing throughout, and nice to see one in white.
  22. Excellent build and photography! That's a great, and unique, color you chose.
  23. A few of mine...
  24. Sharp build for sure! Love that you added the shaker scoop. Underhood detail is excellent, as is the chassis.
  25. First mockup with the tires pinned on. Moebius 70 F100 converting to an F250 using Fireball Modelworks excellent conversion kit.
