  1. I treated myself to a new Porsche for Christmas. timothy jones, on Flickr
  2. I'm still trying to decide what to build. I've narrowed it down to either a Porsche 911 Carrera Cabrio or a Ford EXP.
  3. As usual for me I'm going with something fast straight off the showroom floor. timothy jones on Flickr
  4. Very nice.
  5. I've got some 80's and 90's cars in the stash so I'd be interested.
  6. I don't think I'll be finished by midnight tomorrow but I won't be far off. The interior tub is done and the body painted with Tamiya Mica Red. DSCF9135 by timothy jones on Flickr DSCF9134 by timothy jones on Flickr DSCF9133 by timothy jones on Flickr
  7. Looking good Fred. The Trans Am is coming together quickly, so far the engine is mostly done and the suspension and exhaust fitted. The bumpers and side skirts have been fitted to the body. They fitted OK after a bit of fettling. Finally for now, a quick mock up.
  8. Great paintwork Riley, that colour changing paintwork should confuse the cops. Congrats on the new place Rob, it looks great. I didn't take part in the last two runs and I know that there are only a few weeks to go but I'm going to make a late entry with this. As you can probably guess from the condition of the box the decals are completely shot but all the parts are OK, just in need of a wash. Like most of my builds this will be basically box stock but I will be changing the colour.
  9. I like the vanball and the 6 cylinder or less ideas. Here are my two. 1. Convertiball - convertibles, roadsters, phaetons, anything with the option of open air motoring. 2. 21st Century ball - Anything built from 2000 onwards.
  10. This one was more difficult than last week's but I got it.
  11. This was an easy one for me.
  12. I picked up a couple of unusual Corvette kits at a show on Sunday. I was also given a couple of Airfix 1/32 Beach Buggies in need of restoration. The red one has modified bodywork
  13. Here's my daily driver, a 2012 Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP.
  14. The most I've paid is £80.00 (around $105.00) for a 1/32 Airfix Austin Maxi.
  15. Staying on the subject of Ford Anglias I saw an Anglia estate this morning. Apart from that I saw a late 30's Morris Eight tourer, a 40's Chevy pickup, a 'shoebox' Ford, a Forward Control Land Rover, a Lamborghini Gallardo on a trailer and a TVR Cerbera with the hood up waiting for a recovery vehicle.
  16. When I arrived at work last Wednesday this unusual PT Cruiser was on the parking lot.
  17. I don't think these have been mentioned yet.
  18. Very nice! Great paintwork.
  19. Thanks for the comments guys.
  20. Here are mine.
  21. A great idea, it turned out really well.
  22. I received a sheet of NNL East 30 decals from Tom Geiger a few months ago so I thought I'd use some of them on an Airfis 1/32 Jaguar XKR, as I have a few of them in the stash. The body is painted BMW Titanium Silver from a rattlecan with the red detailing brush painted using Revell acrylics. I was impressed with the quality of the NNL East decals which went on with no problems at all. The other sponsor decals are from the kit. Thanks to Tom for the decals. I still have plenty left for another race car.
  23. Great looking Charger.
  24. Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. I finished it last Saturday and I'm pleased with how it turned out. If only I could afford a full size version. I enjoyed building this kit and may have to get another one.
