  1. Robin: glad to see you taking on an endeavor like this, great too see kids getting involved. I taught an elective class on models when I taught seventh grade, the kids loved it!! Thanks for bringing the hobby to the younger generation.
  2. That is a masterpiece!! The paint job is, as always, amazing. Great job John!!
  3. That is a super clean looking model, great execution and skills!
  4. Somehow I missed the last six pages, so I got caught up on them and all I can say is amazing!!
  5. Great looking funny car, has always been one of my favorites. You did a great job on it, is that the oob stance or did you have to make any adjustments?
  6. Chris: I don't know if you just showed it or if I just noticed it, but the detail work on the under side of the tin is simply amazing!! You are doing some incredible work, I'm starting to think you and John are the same person with a split personality! I'm having the same swelling problem using Tamiya putty with Tamiya primer and its getting frustrating.
  7. What is the best, safest way to remove making tape (Tamiya) residue from a paint job. I made the mistake of leaving the tape on while the car was in the dehydrator and now I have a left over film of residue.
  8. John the detail work on that blower scoop with the working butterflies is just incredible!! Amazing model!!!
  9. Krishna that is a sweet looking Challenger!! Great color combination.
  10. Love the engine detail and the color, fantastic job!!
  11. That was a really cool idea Ray, it came out great!!
  12. Coming along great, those brakes look fantastic. Amazing work!!
  13. Now that's a lead sled!!! Very nice job!
  14. Great looking model, the semi gloss on the wheels make them look much better. Excellent job!!
  15. Really nice job Brett, love the deployed parachute!! Is that a resin chute and where did you get it?
  16. As always John that is some great scratchbuilding! That is one scary ride, but like Danno said you don't get far with that big motor and that little gas tank. Fantastic build!!
  17. I finished painting my son's old bedroom which is turning into guest bedroom/model room and was putting my model cases back on the shelves when one caught the shelf bracket, slipped out of my hand, and crashed to the floor! Now my Darrell Waltrip Mountain Dew car is in about 30 separate pieces. Hopefully I will be able to put it back together again. I have since put all my finished models in a glass display showcase so hopefully that won't happen anymore
  18. Chris: amazing level of detail, it is really looking great, keep up the phenomenal work.
  19. Love the color, always nice to see a Ferrari in a unique color!
  20. Nice looking '58, love the interior, very nice work!!
  21. Very nice build John, great job, always love the old front engine dragsters!!
  22. That is a sharp looking car, very nice job!
  23. Aaron, you always do great work and this one is no exception!! Curious as to how it went together and what after market parts you used. I have this in my stash along with the Slixx decals for the black bodied version. Once again great job on this, you got to love the Grand Am, it's so ugly it's cool!!
  24. Gene, thank you very much for the information!!! I believe my problem is with curing, I know it did not cure for 8 hours before spraying, probably more like two hours!! Hopefully I will get a chance to try again this weekend.
