  1. Didn't the Cougar have a mechanical system for that? A motor that moved an arm to make contact? I remember those well.
  2. Well,I was WAY off. I was too lazy to look it up to be sure.
  3. I'm guessing 63 or 64. I'm sure someone on here will know for sure.
  4. That's a nice tribute to your uncle..
  5. Great weathering! I hope the back end of that is filled with rocks.. lol
  6. Thanks for the review! I have the 1/24th version too. The only complaint I have is that the instructions are printed too fine. It's hard for me to see. The lines need to be heavier.
  7. A lot of guys on here do it. I'm waiting on an AMT 65 Corvette that's going to be rebuilt.
  8. I just saw an original hit on Evilbay that had a set of those Darlingtons (couldn't remember the name). They look OK,but they're about 50 years old...
  9. Aren't they the guys who put Lambo doors and 30" rims on everything?
  10. You're right Luca. I went to Ebay and found a good picture of the bottom of the box that shows the parts. I don't know if someone goofed or what, because it shows the the front spindles and those parts too. Why would you need 2 axles? Nice printed tires though.
  11. Hmmm. It always had a metal axle for the rear wheels .Plastic pins on the front. Maybe they got some complaints about breaking the pins. I didn't know it had been reissued. When I was much younger-way back,I had the original version that had the soft actual rubber tires. I guess that didn't work because as far as I know they never did it again.
  12. I heard it on the very first Simpson's Christmas special. 1989 I think...
  13. Great build! I've built one of those ,and yes,you did a LOT of work to it.
  14. LOL I get this. 'Jingle bells, shotgun shells Robin laid an egg. The Batmobile broke it's wheel,The Joker got away'.
  15. Eh, Might as well post this. It's last years card. At least it's a hot rod.
  16. Very nice Ralph! Yes,I's like to see more. Are these done in pencil?
  17. Now I can see them Greg.
  18. Yep ,all of the above. I see those prices and wonder who would pay that much for a kit. It would have to be a serious collector to pay $200 for a kit that you can't build. What cracks me up is the seller(s) want $15 + shipping for some part that's easily found in a complete kit for about the same price.
  19. This is the card I made for this year. Santa's got a Deora!
  20. I email him , There's a contact link on his site. You tell him what you're looking for and he'll let you know if he has them and how much. in about 2 days. He uses Paypal, too.
  21. Thanks for the review! I've almost bought that kit a few times ,but the scale kept me away. I build primarily 1/25th and a few 1/8th scale models. That's in between, and I'm afraid it would look out of place. Nice kit though.
