  1. Very nice.
  2. I know the aero-coupe rear glass made the car faster but I prefer the notch back look.
  3. Nice job on the paint and decals Jason.
  4. Another great Lacy hot rod!
  5. I don't have a paint booth. I only air brush Tamiya water base acrylics into a make shift cardboard box while wearing a respirator. I paint my bodies outside with rattle cans.
  6. Nice job converting it back to street stock.
  7. Thanks Steve. My space does tend to focus the mind, its almost like climbing into cockpit.
  8. I have been preparing for the apocalypse, sadly it feels like it might be here.
  9. Very nice indeed.
  10. Great project Ray.
  11. Very nice Jared.
  12. Great lil' buggy!
  13. They work great! Bought these from Harbor Freight as well in small and large size.
  14. I think it stand up well, great work Gary.
  15. Rally cars compete in all types of conditions from snow and ice to rocks and sand and everything in between. I decide to make some varying width and offset wheels for a possible gravel spec version build later. Wheels on the far right are straight form the box the two sets on the left are my modified versions I did some detailing on the wheels as well. A hole can fool the eye to think there is a fastener there. I may add fasteners later.
  16. Thanks Dann & David. There is a ton of detail in a rally car interior that can be replicated but I won't be going all out. With full side glass and everything being shades of black it is very hard to see on the finished build as I found out on my Escort RS1800 build.
  17. Appears to a modified version of the MPC kit.
  18. I tend to over indulge just a little. Its a '65 Barracuda glue bomb that I was restoring at the time for a potential future project. It's too rough for replica stock but certainly good enough for a race car. As far as tools only a Dremel and and air brush/air compressor, everything else I do by hand.
  19. I converted a closet, yes a closet into my work space. No need for a video you can see the whole thing in 1-photo!! Got tired of arguing about why I couldn't use this room or that room.
  20. Dirt track racing is what got me excited early both about racing and modeling. The Ford dealership my Dad worked for sponsored one of the cars and he would take me to the races occasionally . There was vendor at the track that sold built-up models painted like the local racers. All those MPC super stockers! I used to droll over those models. Thanks for posting this Scott.
  21. Welcome to the forum.
  22. Turned out great.
