  1. Thinned semi-gloss black 3-parts thinner to 1-part paint and flowed it into the recess of the Fuchs wheels. Not a traditional look for a 944 or even Fuchs but I like it.

  9. I've been working to enlarge the hole to get more recess Alex. We'll see how much I can obtain. I'm happy with the size of the cap.

  12. Super easy to make Mike: Punch out the cap from sheet stock I like to round off the top edge cut a groove with a razor saw glue in a strip, sand, shape your done

  14. The 991 series was introduced in 2012. Not aware of any current kits of this series.
  15. Rally teams moved the fuel fill to the back of the car. Drilled and chamfered a hole in the body and fabricated the simple fuel cap.

  18. I use solid plastic rod bend it with my fingers or round needle nose pliers then heat it over a candle to set the shape.

  20. I would suggest buying various shapes of Evergreen or Plastruct and start scratch building. Using various size round & hex rods, tubes and flat stock I created the engine on the left compared to what is included in the kit on the right.   21. Front and rear are styled after the 911R along with the louvered side window.
