    Yea I'm a Fujimi fan too Dann, but they really dropped the ball on the Cobra kit.

    I looked at those tires Dann before I started the project and they are too large. I am using the tires from HRM's FIA Halibrand set.

    Accessories in place at the rear. The bungee will slip over the trunk handle when it is permanently installed (after decaling).

    Thanks Dan. Gene, it won its class (sport +5000) and finished 10th OA (overall). '66 was the year Ken Miles/Lloyd Ruby won in the GT40 roadster. '66 the year Ken Miles won Daytona , Sebring and should have won LeMan but Ford politics robbed him of the victory.

    You might try scraping it Ray. That is what I did with the front turn signals here. I removed the chrome just from the lens to expose the white plastic underneath.

    I don't presume to know your skill level or your goals for this project. However before you invest a lot of money here is very good thread that demonstrates what's involved in recreating a Mad Max car. Since you haven't been in the model car scene I think you will find it informative.
