  1. Curt, I think your ready for Grad school. Nice work.
  2. More pictures of the 914/6 and the 914/6GT.
  3. Very nice. I would love to have a permanent track.
  4. Thanks Brayden. Lots left to do but I think I am on the home stretch with the rear suspension.
  5. I'm not a big fan of the large format boxes. I would prefer the original size.
  6. Joe, for the steering wheel inserts I agree on a black wash for the recesses. After that had dried I would go over the raised flat surface with some fine sandpaper. This would remove any paint overage and take a bit of sheen of the photo-etch which might eliminate the need to paint it silver. JC
  7. There are resin kits but I am not aware of any plastic kits currently in production.
  8. IIRC the AMT '69 Torino, the version with the NASCAR parts has a very deep set of steel wheels.
  9. Jeremy Jon was working on a very nice Coyote resin kit. Not sure if he has finished it. Here is the link.
  10. The forum doesn't play nice with Internet Explorer. I always use Google Chrome to post anything.
  11. Here is said HRM tanskit:
  12. I was enjoying this thread very much before the sever switch over wiped out much of it. I hope you guys where too. Let’s try to get to bring it back to life with one of my previous selections. Peter Ulrich – Pathways and Dawns Peter Ulrich was the drummer for Dead Can Dance for several years. He decided to break out on his own with this, his first album – well sort of. Brendan Perry had a big influence over this album as he played on, arranged and produced it. None the less it is filled with some wonderful examples of musicianship if you can get pass Ulrich’s singing. It was recorded in Quivvy Church, built in Ireland in the 1800’s and that contributes to the albums fantastic sound. I give you, Life Amongst the Black Sheep
  13. So you get the right size 24 mm would scale out to be approximately 24". If you want 21" wheels you would want 21 mm diameter.
  14. I can't quite figure Renaissance out. I have been reluctant to order much of their resin because the quality is all over the place.
  15. I thought your avatar might be your 1:1 car.
  16. Current state of the rear axle. It may be hard to believe but I have already added over 30 individual pieces to the rear axle alone. The completed rear suspension will be over 60 pieces.
  17. Thanks Delfin. It is actually a 5-link suspension setup with the 5th link being the Panhad bar.
  18. Nice work Ken. Do you own a 1:1 S800?
  19. I have the set on the far right. Inside diameter is 24mm overall diameter is 25mm. Tire width is 10mm. Pm me if you are interested in them.
  20. Great start.
  21. Thanks Marcos, will do.
  22. I really like post war hot rods and early salt flat cars. I also really enjoy your builds Bill. I guess I would describe them as legitimate. I have a few reference books about this era. This is my favorite. I need to learn a lot more about how they where constructed before I attempt one so please keep teaching us.
  23. Yes. See above for retail sources or try HRM at the e-mail address.
