Very well done, now this car is a real fore-runner of the New Vette's coming, with the rear engine. Nice job.

Lamborghini Silhouette, Gunze-Sangyo, 1/24

Looks good, well done, I really like seeing the car next to the magazine pictures, it shows the origin and how faithful you were to the original. Nice work. -
Very neat concept, different and well done........ curious, is this a curbside? Regardless, I really like the colors and how the fluorescent orange contrasts against it . sharp. Was the "Goodyear" logo sprayed onto the tires?

Very nice, is it me, or did these Yanko's not have window trim? Regardless, great detail, and the chassis is really well done, maybe you should display this one upside down.... Nice job.

Very nice, really like the orange paint.... never cared much for the front end design on these Dodges, but overall it looks very well done, and coming from Europe, you wouldn't be as well versed in the way American vinyl roofs were done. Overall, nice job.

Beautiful build, just so "period" correct and the color suits it very well, love it.

Very nice builds.... love those big Japanese cars, they look dated, but they were a blast to drive as Infiniti's here in the states. Nice work. I converted two of the big 4 doors into big 2 doors, so yeah, I like them a lot.

1950 Nash Ambassador - Carrera Panamericana
Peter Lombardo replied to curt raitz's topic in Model Cars
Great job Curt...... looks terrific and just like the photo of the real car........... just when I thought our hobby was on the skids, along comes 3D printing to open and expand into areas we never dreamed possible just a few years ago, you gotta' love it. Again, great work as usual. -
Seriously, it is not nice to tease us like this..... you know just about everyone would want one of these and the Ford Big block, and any other currently unavailable engine. You know we would kill for a circa 1964 highly detailed 426 Hemi with a cross-flow dual quad carb set-up. By the way, this one is beautiful too.

Not a fan of "Low Riders", but the paint work here is first rate. Very nice and glad to see a different color scheme on a low rider, most are over a silver base, I like the black and gold, very sharp.

Owned a 1975 mach 1 in yellow, not as good a car as the earlier versions, but it was fun. Nice build, brings back memories, the red looks really nice on the car.

Very nicely done, now where is the girl?

Yeah Barry, I looked it all up on the website to verify the different classes and the engine requirements.

59´Cadillac Eldorado Seville Hardtop 1/25 Monogram
Peter Lombardo replied to Fairfax's topic in Model Cars
Just flat out beautiful. Normally, I am not a huge fan of straight up stock builds, but this one is sweet. Very nice. -
I have made some headway on the car. Because of the fuel injection that I added to the Allison creates a much higher height requirement, the design of the rear cowling was too low to cover the power-plant. So the choice was to not use the Allison as I have reconfigured it, or modify the cowling. I opted for the latter and made the modifications to the body. I really like the look of the Allison with the fuel injection and turbos, so body modifications were the direction I went. You can see that I have two air intake openings on the cowling which I want to preserve as the breather intake openings that would feed the turbo's. So because of that, I needed to include an opening setup on the revised cowling to accomplish that. Here you can "kind of" see them...... it is a little difficult to see.Along with the revised cowling, I have added an air-dam skirt around the bottom of the car. The idea is to control the down force much the same as F1 cars back in the 70's and 80's did until it was outlawed. Certainly would not want this car becoming air-born at top speed. Here it is from the back. There is going to be twin parachutes in the center of the back end, and a rear spoiler to the aft end of the rear at rear deck height. Here it is with the cockpit cover in place which will hinge at the back side of itAnd with the engine in placeThe car needs a lot attention to sanding and clean-up, especially on the wheel louvers and the cowling fit I will begin the suspension and cockpit next. This build will take time as I am waiting for the turbos to arrive so I can complete the engine plumbing and wiring. It's all just a fantasy for me.

Very nice.... that very old kit is holding up very well. Nice.
-
Great save, looks very nicely done, clean and good color choice. Sharp.
-
Very nice, but you have me a bit confused..... is this build complete? And if so, why is it on the workbench? But, having asked that, it is a nice looking build.
-
well done all around, body mod's, paint and finish, all excellent..... If I had to question any part of the build, I am not sure I like the exhaust outlet .... but that sure is a minor point. The under hood detail is so clean and well done and the wheels set it off nicely. Very cool period custom.

Very nice shopping cart. Seriously, very well done.

Beautiful, what a shame those old molds no longer exist. Beautiful.

Really nice, I especially like the transplant of the tail lights onto this car, it works very well...... looking really sharp.
