`81 Turbo Trans Am - MPC Trophy series, Year One inspired

Wow that looks wonderful. Is this 1:25? -
Got myself several of the uptop made by Kris at Morgan Automotive Detail some months back and all i can say is they are superb. I did no clean up first. I belive with small adjustment these will go fine with 1961 models. They will not be a perfect fit with Buick Electra and Cadillac`s because of lenght. My pictures dont do them justice, but here i did a test on 1964 Pontiac Bonneville.

Got this old MPC some years back. Was lucky to get it reasonable because someone been very entusiastic about using glue,a real gluebomb. Hood was glued shut, glass and some other parts where destroyed. Soaked the entire thing in Purple Power around a week before the 4 layers of paint let go. Thankfully the scripts where good and also managed to get the tail lights out. Short sum up. Lucerne Blue,Sandalwood interior,400 engine and 400 auto. 1971 first year the rear spoiler was optional, this one from Missing Link. The dealer installed vinyl stripes are from Keith Marks. These stripes are not shown in the original brochure but was avalibale at dealers and you might seen them back in the day,or on restored cars today. The air cleaner decals is not factory, but i did add one anyway. Thanks for looking and hope you like.

Started this with AMT 1970 Impala kit. I used chassis, engine, doors and quarter panels and 20% of the trunk, interior bucket, wheels, part of dash from the 1970. The roof and sail panel is 1969 Wildcat, the front fenders, hood, bumpers, valance f/b is resin, tail lights are Modelhaus. Transmission is resin automatic, some scratch build under the hood that aren`t 100% correct, but an improvement imo compared to the stock kit. Noticed the car surfing Google, and wanted to try do somthing similar. Color is LeMans Blue,Parchment interior,Turbojet 427 & Turbohydramatic (Th400). Thanks for looking

Now it seem photobucket have come to sense and i can post pictures. One wiper fell loose, did not notice until after done take pics. Here are some, thanks for looking.

Looks great. Brown and black works good together. -
Very nice Ford and very nicely done.

That is beautiful, well done. I like the left out bumper and driving lights. The color must be very close to original as for this one.

Bartoletti Transporter and the Daytonas Coupe... Last Update 5/28

Wow! It looks amazing Excellent workmanship. -
The Modelhaus stuff is very nice. Somthing i thought about a while ago is,would the wheel/tire combo from the 55-56 Chrysler 300 be correct for this? If so it`s tempting to try shoot Moebius a mail if they consider wheel/tire packs as AMT does. If not the exact ones from the Moebius, somthing like the Kelsey Hayes stuff. I dont see why it shouldn`t be a good seller.
