Hi everyone, this is what I am working on next. My plan for this model is to make it a fairly detailed model. I will be scratch building some items, enhancing kit parts and adding some aftermarket items. To the best of my knowledge there are no kit specific detail up sets for this. There is a basic PE sheet in the kit. This will not be a typical Tamiya shake-and-bake model kit. It is a '60s tooling that was originally designed to be motorized. I will try to keep this thread updated as much as possible. I am normally way ahead, building wise, compared to what I post in my updates. This time I will try to keep it closer to real time that way if anyone has ideas and/or suggestions I can incorporate them. There is not a whole lot of photographic evidence about these cars. I have several websites that I bookmarked, I have one crazy over the top builder who pretty much scratch built his kit that I reference and I purchased a PDF from Modeler Site that has a lot of good ideas. Please, if you know anything about this car of where I can find good reference pictures of it, let me know. I will greatly appreciate it.

I am hoping that you all could help me out. I am building Tamiya's 1:12 Matra MS11 F1 kit. I would like to look at MFH's instructions for their 1:20 Matra MS11. I am hoping to use it as a reference for wiring and plumbing. There isn't much out there for this car. I have been to MFH's website and found the car but I do not see their instructions anywhere. I have been to Spot Models and Hiro Boy but was unable to get a decent, usable set of instructions. Does anyone know where I can get a good set of usable instructions for this car? Maybe you have the kit or know someone who does? Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

Eagle Gurmey Weslake 1/12 MFH

I wholeheartedly agree with everything being said. I have this model and it is the only car that I would consider spending that kind of money on. Your work is stunning. I saw it over on Facebook in the MFH group and over at F1M. I’m not sure how you will be able to top this build. My hat’s off to you! -
Here are a few pics of the latest model from my hobby bench. This is the Revell Tweedy Pie 2. This is not my normal genre. It was/is meant to be a low stress, quick, fun build and it pretty much filled those requirements. It is box stock. It was airbrushed in decanted Testors Purple-Licious and the only reason I did that is my NOS can had leaked. Almost all of the chrome was stripped and shot with Alclad Chrome. The wheels, oil pan, valve covers and headlights were the only things left in kit chrome. I did not like the too tall windshield so I left it off. One big boo-boo was applying Tamiya black panel liner in the newly opened exhaust ends and then accidentally touching one and having the panel liner wick up and destroy the Alclad Chrome on the end. As I said, stress free build....I just touched up the end with Testors Chrome Silver paint.

Winners of 24 Hours of Le Mans in Scale

Sounds good, Gary. I wanted to make sure. I will be following along as I think this is a great topic. Generally speaking, foreign cars and foreign racecars don't get a lot of love. It is nice to see them here. -

I thought I would try to add to this thread but I have to admit that I don't know my Le Mans racing like you guys. I may have missed it but are you looking for overall winners or is class winners OK? If class winners are OK then I think I can add three of my models to the thread. Please let me know. Thanks! -
Thank you, James, you have always done a great job keeping us updated on new releases and things like these Japanese hobby shows.
