  1. Very, very nice!!
  2. First off, very nice model of what I think is a beautiful race car! I have built this model. I am going to guess that you had trouble with the decals that go on the rear wing.
  3. Very nice, Dann. Your photography really sets it off.
  4. Sorry, Craig, I don't have any pictures. It was very cramped in the display area. That is a good problem for the club to have. I was happy to hear that it was their largest show to date. I wonder if they could move the contest display area down to where the round tables sat? Again, good problem to have, a show still growing after 26 years! I wish the best to the members of C.A.R.B.S. for next year's show.
  5. Let me give a big "Thank You" to the C.A.R.B.S. members for putting on the show today. It was their 26th annual show and their largest one yet! They told us there were 339 models this year. It was my first time attending and I was fortunate enough to have a few models place, including a class win and Best of Show! I got to meet up with some modeling buddies and was able to meet some great builders. All-in-all, it was a great day.
  6. I am in Fairborn, OH. Due to the length of the drive, my wife and I drove up tonight. I can sleep in tomorrow and still be at the show when the doors open. It is my first time attending and I am looking forward to it!
  7. Mark, click on the link in the first post. It takes you to the show flyer.
  8. That is pretty cool! Imagine seeing that thing flying down the Interstate.....
  9. Very nice, Nie! That paint scheme is a real eye catcher!
  10. I always use very warm water to put my decals in. Others use a blow drier when applying them. This just makes the decals a little "softer" and more pliable and easier to lay down over irregular shapes.
  11. Thanks for the answer to my first question, Curt. I do have another question. Is there any way to get the entry form(s) so they can be filled out ahead of time? I have not been able to find them. TIA.
  12. That is one nice Firebird! Like the others have said, great job on the interior!
  13. This is sooooo very nice! Very clean build. Engine and paint are absolutely great!
  14. Very nice, I like it. It is a nice clean build.
  15. Gorgeous Jag!
  16. I won this kit as a door prize at the Toledo NNL. After seeing your build, I will have to give the kit a second look. I didn't think I would be too interested in it but it looks like it builds into a nice model. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Wow, that looks like a beautiful paint job. Very nice!
  18. I have both models in my stash and on my to-do list. These are just great looking race cars, IMHO. Both of yours look good!
  19. I like everything about this one. I like the color, I like the tire/wheel combo and I like the stance. Great model!
  20. Very nice! She looks good in silver.
  21. You Sir, are ridiculous. Ridiculously talented, that is! I just found this build thread, and when I saw it was started by you I had to check it out......WOW! Every single sub-assembly you have created has been a work of art onto itself. As it is coming together I am looking forward to what you have up your sleeve next! Thanks for taking the time to photograph and explain what you are doing and how you are doing it. Absolutely ridiculous(ly amazing.)
  22. Hi Curt and thanks for the response! I sent you a PM with a link. Please let me know if it did not work.
  23. I am thinking of going to this show. It will be my first time attending. Is there anyone from the club that could answer a question about one of the rules on the flyer?
  24. Very nice!!
