  1. Hmm... Looks like when making a suggestion you realy need to defend your proposal, kinda like the 250K question (but without the guidelines) Maybe when having some spare time I'll. send in an idea...Ford Capri Mk1, Ford lotus Cortina, '69 Opel Commodore GSE, '79 Opel Kadett GT/E coupe rally late '70s early "80s Opel Manta/Ascona 400 rally, '90s Ford Sierra Cosworth (sedan), late '60s early '70s Ford Transit and Bedford Van's....oh well too many to narrow down to just one...
  2. Always been a fan of Monogram kits, but when I first saw that kit back in the day, I thought they goofed with the headlamps.
  3. Not too fond of that kit, think the windshield lays too far back, because of the vent windows look tiny almost 1/25th scale like, sold mine because of that.
  4. Looks great indeed, can't wait to have a copy myself
  5. And IIRC only this one and the reissues that came after it have the right grille
  6. Love the choice of color and like Mike Hammer, "I'm gonna take a note" and slip it in my kit, when it arrives..
  7. Most likely a test, on how fast or slow they sell. If the evaluation is positive, I'm sure they will act appropriately upon that data.
  8. À custom convertible with carson top maybe?
  9. Only if it's a mediocre kit LOL All kidding aside, do hope the good people of Stevens, get and are allowed to show an advance copy on the relevant boards...
  10. Question or rather remark, to me it looks like this axle set up, would be ideal to be used for wrecker bodies. If so, wouldn't it be neat, if Round2 would to tool up, a new wrecker body for this kit? ;^)
  11. 35 British Pounds
  12. Yes it is and sorry to hear. I wrapped my remark in a joke, so I wouldn't offend, I just had a hard time trying to read your posts, so sometimes skipped them. thanks for adjusting Luc
  13. It doesn't need to be, when people really listen, there will be an understanding, which means that we can understand the viewpoint of opposing parties. But then again drama sells LOL
  14. Not. even for the hard to read, font choice? Darn! ;^)
  15. nope, sort of a rat rod, flat black, back on the road after years on the salvage yard ;^) Just having fun with a box full of styreen parts
  16. Anyway, there must be something wrong with me, so many great detailed kits out there and I'm playing with this one, it's still in a mock-up stage (needs a final coat of flat black) Did a lot of filing, grinding and sanding to get the misaligned body of this '90s release presentable, also had to make a new drip-rail for the left side, hopefully the mold alignment is better on the recent re-release. It also looks like, the windshield is going to end up in the recycle bin as is the engine, to me Revell in the California era, had some great ideas, but once the concept went into the tooling stages, it got mediocre at best. The chrome buckets for the headlamps come from an Italeri truck accessories kit, the wheels and tires from the Modelhaus.
  17. I fully agree with the '72 as the better looking one...
  18. BTW remember those XS tuning wheel sets? Well they're a perfect fit for those compact car kits
  19. Hope you find one without tireburns on the clear parts.

  21. I used to own some interesting cars, but now drive a company vehicle during the week and riding the bus or train, on weekends, when my wife needs her car to work. BTW the photo is from a similar vehicle, not mine
  22. Highly unlikely Dave Metzner was involved in this project Think you meant Dave Burket.
  23. Here's their preview catalog http://www.italeri.com/imgup/Preview%202014_LR.pdf
  24. Indeed Jo-han is a '68 and the model used in the TV show was a '69-'70
