  1. that's why I said it was photoshopped.
  2. Where did you have those 3D printed from?
  3. I removed the front seats and added flocking. This was my first time using flocking and it was much easier than I thought it would be. Before weathering After weathering
  4. looks poorly photoshopped to me
  5. There are people involved with the previous cheating, video taping, etc. that have come forward to give statements and testimony. How much more of a source do you want? The Patriots win history will forever be questionable. There is no questions the balls were tampered with by the Patriots, but like JC said, there was insufficient evidence to link brady directly with proof and that's why the ruling was overturned. There is no question that they cheated and got caught. Not only that, but this whole thing spans the Belichick/Brady regime. Coincidences like this just don't exist in real life.
  6. thanks guys. Got the suspension parts painted with a base coat. Will post pics after detailing. I used some Kosutte Ginsan powder to do the center console. Doesn't need black paint, just a smooth shiny surface. This stuff is great. It will look nice once I drop in the PE centerpiece.
  7. it works fine for me. All you will see is before you enter a thread, they may appear as the last person that replied, but when you view the thread, it won't show anything they posted. Also, if someone quotes one of their posts, you will be able to see what they said in the quoted post. Other than that, nothing they contribute directly should be able to be viewed.
  8. You need to spray at an angle across the surface. Also, it doesn't have to be gloss black base, any super smooth and shiny surface will work. Very thin, almost non existant coats. I do between 15-20 passes nornally to build it up. I spray almost parrallel to the surface. It needs to be nearly dry when it hits the surface, id it goes in wet, it wont give you the reflective surface
  9. I was getting a little tired of the rear end, but if I put this in a box and start something else, I won't touch it for a year. I am trying to focus on completing projects without starting 5 in between. I move onto the interior. I got some Vallejo acrylics and finishes. I did the interior with black mixed with a tad of white, then coated with satin varnish. I weathered the interior a bit. it looks way more weathered in the pictures than in real life. When it's on my bench it just looks like normal wear and tear, the pictures make it look hammered. Anyway, got everything in the interior done except the center console and steering column/wheel. Stripped the panels and this time I applied the foil before painting. I saw this done before and I think it was easier to achieve good results as I can position the Q Tip more consitently to get a straight line than I can cut foil perfectly straight. After Painting, I weathered, then use thinner and a conical swab to remove the paint from the foiled area. Then applied the PE pieces. Got brave and did the dash too. I am not very experienced with foil and have only done it a few times. It didn't turn out great, but it's better than I though. I think it would have been much better if I used the same method as I did on the door panels I used PE washers for radio knobs, it really cleaned it up, also for the glovebox lock. The gauges are acetate that come with the Model Car Garage detail set I have never used flocking, but I am still considering it. I only glued the seats in, but they can be removed easily. I am just too lazy to go to the store to get the right glue.
  10. Ebay is actually a fairly reliable way to judge going prices, you just have to look at the prices of items that actually sold, not just the listings.
  11. i just ordered 1 of each of the Futurattraction 4 links. They are very nice. Be carefull when peeling off the backing though, it can be a little tough, I nearly bent one beyond repair. Might have had something to do with it being in a metal mail box and 119 degrees
  12. my favorite one so far
  13. My first non-plane military model. $22 shipped to my door, couldn't turn it down. This thing is rad
  14. It showed up in the mail yesterday and my wife surprised me with my own.
  15. been taking an interest in planes lately. Picked a few up
  16. little things, little time at the bench, but it's something. I am also taking an interest in planes, so I have started a couple of those kits. I painted the door panels with the new Vallejo paint I got, but it's super flat finish and was hard to detail. I decided to strip and I removed some of the molded in detail to make room for the photo etched stuff Notice the emblem on the left side of the panel emblems, cranks and knobs polished and ready assembled the keys \
  17. I don't see why they couldn't do decals like this. Scale Motorsport makes carbon fiber decals that you can set and get the wrinkles out with a hair dryer. They conform to curvy and tight spaces.
  18. These guys are talking about draft beer and dessert, I thought this was about a drought in the desert.
  19. A highschool classmate of mine makes these things and sells them. She takes patterns and sets nails into the wood, then wraps string around them to make pictures. I had her make this for my 1 1/2 year old son so I can hang it in his room. Turned out way better than I expected
  20. Then you pay double shipping if you order two units. Let the guy run the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH business the way that's best for him and buy it, or don't.
