  1. Test post trying to post a new resin kit review and it won't let me post pictures.
  2. Keep getting 404 error when trying to post a new thread with pictures. I wanted to see if I can start a new thread with text only
  3. I've been ignored 4 times in a row so far, but I'll try again. Use Imgur.com. You can preset resolution before you upload, so they automatically resize as they are uploading, you can quick dump photos that you want to use 1 time without logging in, you can make albums, you can do anything you want. They have links for forums, email, etc. It's a simplified hosting site.
  4. You took that pretty hard didn't you? My team doesn't usually play the Patriots. Where there's smoke, there's fire, and the Patriot's camp is is burning up. There will forever be an asterisk next to ever trophy the Patriots have won with Brady and Belichick I have never met a more sensitive, insecure fan base than that of the Patriots. It's kind of sad.
  5. I forgot I did that. I still haven't built this kit. I am waiting to get better at scratch building.
  6. It is literally called Scale Hardware. http://www.scalehardware.com/ The battery connectors are from the Model Car Garage set.
  7. Thank you, I will do that next time
  8. Holy exclamation marks Batman I ordered a few things from him. The pieces are very nice..I haven't been able to use any of them yet, but I have some plans for them
  9. I pretty much finished the battery tonight. I added the anti-corrosion donuts. Just painted some PE washers. Shaved off the molded in posts and drilled a hole, made the new posts from aluminum rod. PE cable ends from the Model Car Garage set
  10. Got my stuff from Bismarck today in perfect condition. Thank you
  11. Thank you guys. I am happy with the way it is coming out. I am going to start the body next, and finish up the little details in the interior and chassis. I am going to order the R&M of Maryland grille for this, he makes one to accept the PE grille. I want to see how it is, I don't like the kit part with the shaved off detail and I don't want to cut it all out.
  12. I have the same problem. I have finished one model 100% in the last 8 years. two more are like 98% minus the hood and mirrors. I have at least a dozen more started, with detail, two of which have been broken down for parts. I buy more detail parts than I have kits for and I spend more time looking at my kits and reorganizing my desk than I do building. However, lately I have been trying to calm myself and focus on one kit. It's working. I am almost done with it. If I get sick of it or start fiddling, I set it aside, but not put it away. I get something else out, work on it for a bit, then put it completely away. Always try and pick good stopping points. If you start building the engine, finish it. Start the interior? Finish it before completing something else, or at least finish a part of it completely. Finish all the primer, or finish all the paint on the interior parts, etc. finding good stopping points is important for me.
  13. Getting there. Just cell phone pics for now. i will take better pics when it's done. Got the engine, exhaust, subframe and rear suspension glued in. Front wheels are on, but because I did a custom set up on the rear, the rear wheels will probably be the last to go on
  14. living in denial must be miserable.
  15. there is indisputable evidence that one or more championship or playoff games were directly affected by them stealing play signals. They also sneaked into other locker rooms and stole playbooks. Anyone denying they are cheaters at this point are just delusional
  16. that's why I said it was photoshopped.
  17. Where did you have those 3D printed from?
  18. I removed the front seats and added flocking. This was my first time using flocking and it was much easier than I thought it would be. Before weathering After weathering
  19. looks poorly photoshopped to me
  20. There are people involved with the previous cheating, video taping, etc. that have come forward to give statements and testimony. How much more of a source do you want? The Patriots win history will forever be questionable. There is no questions the balls were tampered with by the Patriots, but like JC said, there was insufficient evidence to link brady directly with proof and that's why the ruling was overturned. There is no question that they cheated and got caught. Not only that, but this whole thing spans the Belichick/Brady regime. Coincidences like this just don't exist in real life.
  21. thanks guys. Got the suspension parts painted with a base coat. Will post pics after detailing. I used some Kosutte Ginsan powder to do the center console. Doesn't need black paint, just a smooth shiny surface. This stuff is great. It will look nice once I drop in the PE centerpiece.
  22. it works fine for me. All you will see is before you enter a thread, they may appear as the last person that replied, but when you view the thread, it won't show anything they posted. Also, if someone quotes one of their posts, you will be able to see what they said in the quoted post. Other than that, nothing they contribute directly should be able to be viewed.
  23. You need to spray at an angle across the surface. Also, it doesn't have to be gloss black base, any super smooth and shiny surface will work. Very thin, almost non existant coats. I do between 15-20 passes nornally to build it up. I spray almost parrallel to the surface. It needs to be nearly dry when it hits the surface, id it goes in wet, it wont give you the reflective surface
  24. I was getting a little tired of the rear end, but if I put this in a box and start something else, I won't touch it for a year. I am trying to focus on completing projects without starting 5 in between. I move onto the interior. I got some Vallejo acrylics and finishes. I did the interior with black mixed with a tad of white, then coated with satin varnish. I weathered the interior a bit. it looks way more weathered in the pictures than in real life. When it's on my bench it just looks like normal wear and tear, the pictures make it look hammered. Anyway, got everything in the interior done except the center console and steering column/wheel. Stripped the panels and this time I applied the foil before painting. I saw this done before and I think it was easier to achieve good results as I can position the Q Tip more consitently to get a straight line than I can cut foil perfectly straight. After Painting, I weathered, then use thinner and a conical swab to remove the paint from the foiled area. Then applied the PE pieces. Got brave and did the dash too. I am not very experienced with foil and have only done it a few times. It didn't turn out great, but it's better than I though. I think it would have been much better if I used the same method as I did on the door panels I used PE washers for radio knobs, it really cleaned it up, also for the glovebox lock. The gauges are acetate that come with the Model Car Garage detail set I have never used flocking, but I am still considering it. I only glued the seats in, but they can be removed easily. I am just too lazy to go to the store to get the right glue.
  25. Ebay is actually a fairly reliable way to judge going prices, you just have to look at the prices of items that actually sold, not just the listings.
