  5. I like the green with white top. Four beam round headlights are cool. ....and ya Rob,... the deck would be a good place for the filler. Nothing a little Bondo and scrap wouldn't fix Looking good so far Chris Cheers

Thanks Scott, I tend to McGyver quite a bit in modelling lol Forgot I had this HO scale chain link fence material So I took the under scoop part And gently rubbed the screen into the cavity Flattened out the edges Trimmed off the excess And installed over the intake trumpets A little tweeking and a strip of BMF,..and weathered they will look ok I think Thanks for looking in Q.C+C's welcome Cheers

  13. Yep the Tamiya F1 kits are great... Haven't tried the MFH kits, but have seen them being built on another site. Seems like a lot of dough though. Good luck in your search! Cheers

  21. gotta swap out those tires ...the directional arrows are reversed...HAHAHA

Sooo ...had a couple of rain days ..= bench time I was able to spend some time on the tires .... 100 grit took it down pretty quick.. then 250g to smooth them out...(CAUTION!!! older Tamiya kits are much softer, thinner rubber!!) Used Craft Smart (Michaels(cdn sp)) acrylic paint to pick out the GYear . Then hit it with Testor's Dullcote spray,... Washed with vallejo 76.517 WASH for dark Grey,..Let dry ..rubbed off the excess, hit again with dullcoat,... And....... Daddy's got a new pair of shoes! Post race dirty shoes , but,.... Ya Sitting on all 4rs It was awesome to spend some time actually modelling again after a long ,.... busy month. Thanks for looking in... Q, C, + C's are welcome Cheers
