  1. Looking good so far Geoff. I love when distributors come started like that,..Kudos to someone out there in amt land. Will you paint the entire underbody as a unit, then detail paint..? Cheers
  2. This was a fun build,..decals were old and yellow so a new set from indycals.com ,. and first time using Future (or whatever it's called now) for a clear coat.. I brush on the Future to cover..let set overnight,. decalled it and brushed on another Future coat within an hour. Body panel paints are Duplicolor,...Chrome Yellow, and High Temp Caliper paint CSP732 Bright Blue. Stripped all chrome and gloss black Duplicolor and Alclad chromed the wheels Added some wiring, removed the front suspension to ease painting, masking, and decalling, then drilled, and pinned. All in all quick and easy,..well except for the turbo piping, that was an Elmer's slow dry hour, to get right... I didn't use the crash test dummy that comes with the kit.   12. Yes The Michaels in St. Catharines has stopped selling anything but snap tites;...today,.. 2 on the shelf I still go in to pick up supplies...wiring, paint, embossing powders, etc.... got my eye on a silhouette cutter I take the 1 hour drive up the QEW to see Robin at Dundas Valley Hobbies
  13. I find that sable bristle brushes stand up to use better than polyester. And yep, Michaels is my go to for new ones, their selection is incredible.

  20. Ahh the subtleties of the english language.... In my 56 years of using it, a Quiff has never been a hairstyle..go figure...
  21. I think the term you're looking for is quaffed... quiff 1 [kwif] ExamplesWord Origin noun, plural quiff, quiffs. Slang. a woman, especially one who is promiscuous.
