1/24 Hasegawa Lancia Delta Integrale "Evoluzione"

One of my favourites too, I have this in the stash somewhere! Looking forward to the build! -
And that is a little bit of heat shield for the exhaust... Made from margarine tub foil

The Chassis is coming along. It's been primed with Zero grey & then several light coats of Zero Glass While. Then a mixture of AB'ed & Hand Painted colours for the details. I'm guessing those black things are petrol tanks. The grey was not re-primed with white primer, so the white did not come out so bright. I was going to cut-out the tunnel & use the underside of the interior tub - in order to not have to mask & paint the propshaft. But... thought it too much effort. These cars are all about the interior! I also wanted to add carbon fibre to the rear of the seat, so used masking tape and penciled in the shape - my first time making my own!

And this is the rear half of the prop shaft (hate it when they split them!) the diff & half shafts. It is AB'ed Alclad Steel for the control arms or what ever they are, and AB'ed Diff with Tamiya titanium, AB'ed Black X1 for the prop-shaft & hand painted Tamiya "Rubber" colour for the gaiters. Having fun on this one! So far.

That paint finish looks flawless!

Great build!

Beautiful build!

It's a great build. The stance is high, but this could be the ralley version. Great finish on the paint without a clear coat!
-
Great build here, glad someone's started it! Question - did you have to seal-in the weathering with a flat clear? Those decals look intimidating, but you've done a sterling job on them!
-
Hey Dann, did you paint on, or draw on those silver rings around the air vents? Or are they photoetch?
-
It's going to be another stunner Dann!

I've tried to match the reference dash, but there are a different amount of switches and buttons, and the white labels are too difficult to replicate

I bought these Speedline wheels from Hiroboy - they match whats in the reference photos, but as they are Fujimi, I'm not sure they'll be compatible

Made the roll-cage, and used the interior tub as a jig to do so. then added a bar (highlighted in red - a little out of scale) to hold the ends of the seat belts.

I will modify the front bumper, remove the grilles in red circles & fill the light housing in the blue circles

Thanks to all those earlier replies! I was focused on finishing the Ferrari 360 over Christmas, but I did get a little done on this Touring Car. Some reference pictures - i'll be making a close match to this car:

Absolutely great build

I have been tempted by this kit, as it's reasonably priced, but I imagine it's not as sharp as a tamiya kit... However will be following on, as I love the car!
