Wish I could post the set he just made for autism awareness to be donated off. The rims has small colored puzzle pieces cut into the rim , absolutely gorgeous work.

Always speechless watching your builds come together. Turning simple items into complex shapes amazes me , and the photos show the details off Just looking at building a euro style truck similar to those used at the Bulmer Cider plant in England. Guess their a very distant relative to me , after the grandparents immigrated to the US .

Fabbed up the rear fenders too, the 1- 1 had these enormous diamond plate rolled fenders . I had some remaining 020 plastruct sheet that looked perfect. I rolled some KnS 008 tin around paint can then attached the plastic . And mocked everything up... One issue that arose was the need for a spacer under hopper . Quick piece of square tube fixed that

I tried hand at making gaskets , really worked well if I'd paid attention to lining up trim before gluing. Used scrap of 015 for gasket. The gasket on drivers side A pillar was off , I trimmed it back and added a strip inside that still needs sanding The detailed springs photo bombed the pic too, small pe etch and copper wire U bolts make them pop

The official post for the Big Rig Build Off 2020 !!! Lets start the new year off with a FUN big rig build off . Last years event was immense fun, and Im hoping for another huge turn out ! Its trucks , their big ,lets have a giant group of builders puttering away at the bench, posting updates and photos ,and hopefully finishing at the end ! I asked driptroit if he minded if I hosted the BRBO 2020 , and he welcomed it ! So it sounds like we have interest, so I'll start an official post and folks can enter there ! I'll ask one of the mods if they'll pin it , making the topic easier to find. Cant wait to see what everyone plans to build, and enjoy the projects along the way ! I'm not the campaign manager for the BRBO, but would be cool seeing smaller scales included so more builders could enter ! 1/160 now that' would require magnifying to build

Thanks ! Thank you ! Started the Frink style plow hitch today since we just went on Christmas holiday at work. Few sections of evergreen angle, sheet and strips created the profiles . I have plow lights coming from vcg resins , really looking forward to adding them . The square tube poking out will be replaced w a longer section that will hold the wing support post up The plow lifting cylinder will attach to the wide angle piece
