  1. well, did anyone else finish a build for this?
  2. if i'm not in a hurry, i like to wet sand the primer coat, then spray color and wet sand that....only if it's a solid color though, metal flake does not like sanding, then lay on the clear and wet sand each coat of that, then wet sand final coat with 2k or 3k, then polish with meguires products. for me, this seems to provide some depth and a lot of shine. i will say it was a heck of a learning curve.
  3. That 66 is just off the charts! Absolutely love it!

Mix of Lindberg 66 and revell 67 pro street kits. For some reason I can only upload certain pics from my phone, can’t upload others, strange..... anyway, has PE bits, and wheels from the Tommy Grove mustang funny car, engine is wired and plumbed, interior is flocked and added speaker grills. Thanks for looking.
  11. Not much else to say, great looking model!
  12. Bill, you crack me up, lol. This topic kinda made my day?
  13. Wow, your nothing came out great, nice grouping of the letters? missing the rear view mirror though.....
  14. Wow! Fantastic build! Well done.
  15. that car in a bottle really triggered some memories!
  16. I try to detail as much as I can, to me it’s a natural part of the build process. And let’s face it, other than some build pics on here, and taking a model to 3 local shows, once it’s on the shelf, no one but me ever looks at it anyway ......but I still do it.
  17. That is sweet!! Great looking build?
  18. weather wasn't too bad, good vendor area as usual and lots of good looking builds on the tables. had a great time, and was nice catching up with a lot of people. hopefully someone will post up some pic's.
  19. Have to agree with Jeff, this build looks fantastic in person, and I’ve seen their 1:1’s in person, KJ really captured the look and feel of the real deal.
  20. Jim, that’s looking good for a quickie build? just kidding, good to see you back at this one.
  21. Sadly, I can almost see that happen, other than the fact we can’t get good roads now, so who’s gonna build the ‘ rail ‘ system or whatever is used for the navigation of these things?
  22. My 41 Plymouth made it in an issue or two ago, and my 67 charger was in last years contest cars , both were at NNL east.
