Dave, out of the box, the wheel trim looks like fender flares, they are quite prominent, so i sanded them down to where i thought they looked 'right'. have it in primer now, still needs some sanding, and not sure if i'm sticking with sublime green or not..........

started this the other night, first order of business was taking care of the 'fender flares' lol, have all the wheel lips re-done, filled some sink marks in the door area, and it is now in primer, will sand and re-check body work tomorrow probably. at this point the plan is a straight up stock build, most likely in sublime green......but that color could change by the time i actually spray something on it, lol.

got some work done, lot to do yet, also forgot to post this pic in my first post, figured I would try a lace paint job, not perfect, but not too bad for a rattle can job, thanks for looking

very nice build, the color combo is fantastic ! I did a monogram 70 awhile back and used a P/E kit on it, but only used the badges and a few other bits, some of it seemed too large for the car. super looking build

thanks all the pink 32 was part of a group build for the 2016 NNL East show, bunch of us did pink cars for breast cancer awareness [all different cars, but each one pink]. the plymouth was kind of a 'goof' build really, i was shooting for an 80's vibe, so chose some, shall we say, vibrant colors, lol. funny part is, I really like how it came out crazy colors and all.

yes, the goal; is to finish it, granted, some take longer than others. I have a detail oriented job that also includes getting things done rather quickly, so when it comes to models I feel the need to complete what I started, albeit at a slower/fun pace. as to the fun being over when something is on the shelf, not for me, I like to think of the time I spent working on whatever model I happen to be looking at at the moment.

big trucks is the thought for this one, maybe someone could start a build off for the pick ups/vans etc.?

"I" want to run this like a contest, but with no real prize at the end, just for fun, and maybe if you guys treat it like a contest it will keep you motivated to keep building. so, having said that, the rules, 1. must have fun 2 monthly update 3 build whatever ya want, mild to wild, snappers included, clean, dirty, primer, shiny, who cares, make it fun so you want to keep building it.
