  1. Thanks for the kind words every one, much appreciated.
  2. You are correct. I must have looked at a million images online when I built mine trying to find a match, and when I did, it was a 70/71 fruehauf
  3. Fantastic pics, thanks for sharing those. For me , it’s amazing how some cars are just plain beautiful, and are timeless, yet some are just slightly off the mark, or seem to have fallen off the target all together, lol.
  4. It’s about the journey sometimes ?
  5. Once winter hits, the weekends become build days. Those sessions range anywhere from 2-6 hours or more depending. Lately when I go in, it’ll be a couple hours before I call it a night.
  6. I’ll be there as well
  7. Thank you everyone, appreciate the kind words. I haven’t been on much lately, but soon I hope to catch up and post on all the terrific builds here, you guys really knock these builds out of the park, looking forward to being more active around here. Thanks again everyone.
  8. Went to a show today, only bought two kits,
  9. Finished this up the other day, I used the mirrors, exhaust stack and front bumper from a revell snap pete, on the trailer I cut off one axle and added some parts box decals to add a little character. I think the trailer looks much better as a tandem rather than a triple axle. As always, thanks for looking.
  10. I ordered 5 sheets from BMF Saturday, got it today ( Wednesday). It is packaged differently, each sheet in an individual zip lock bag, and what looks like the envelope is a fold open card with the foil sheet inside. I did a quick test piece, seems to be back to what we are all used to. I’m pleased that I can foil with confidence again after dealing with the sub par sheets I have purchased in the last year or so.
  11. Played golf at the local PGA course, absolutely amazing course. Shot a 95 with a 42 on the back 9, for me, that’s like par for the course. Had a blast playing it with friends, terrific day out.
  12. Depending on how bad the fogging is, I’ve had good luck with putting some saliva on a q tip and essentially buffing the area with the fog. Worth a shot.
  13. Nothing obscure or amazingly unknown, but in the last few months I have purchased BB King live in Japan, Albert King Thursday night in San Francisco and Joe Bonamassa live at the beacon theater, all fantastic albums…..
  14. I would imagine in a case like that, if they did part out kits, the rest of each kit would be sorted, and each tree would be saved for replacement of like trees that have defects/issues. I’m in a position of not wanting to build the kit yet, I have many others I can build in the mean time, my only complaint really is this, if you as the company know it’s going to be a month or so to send a replacement part, just be upfront and let me know it’ll be awhile , I’m an adult, I’ll understand, just let me know.
  15. Another shopping trip today to a semi local hobby shop
  16. Hit hobby lobby today and picked these up
  17. Don’t remember the exact kit, but it was one of the 1/32 monogram snap funny cars, probably 1974/5 , I was 5 or 6 years old
  18. Still nothing yet, will have to contact them again……
  19. Played golf this morning, shot 39 on the par 36 front 9, wheels fell off on the back 9, but over all played bogie golf for 18 today
  20. Another vote for scale hobbyist and model roundup , shop both places a lot, never had an issue with either place.
  21. Near as I can figure, in 9 months, your truck moved about 3 feet…….
  22. Don’t know why, but the corvette box art on that kit gets me every time…
