  1. this thing is saweet! love the paint job, holy smokes that's pretty!! great work with the alclad as well, and thanks for the tips on applying it.
  2. wow, quite the collection! now, who's going to trade me an autocar for something I have kicking around? I have yet to get one of those, or an Alaskan hauler....they seem to be elusive............[not elusive, but expensive as heck.....]
  3. ya, it can get out of control quick....just ask me how I know, lol. don't worry, as long as you have a kit, some basic supplies and somewhere to work, it's all good......cause you're building.

  6. yesterdays score, hit michaels craft store with a 25% off entire purchase coupon, low and behold, all these kits were on sale for cheap, vette kits were $6 each, super birds were $10 each and the others were $8 and $9 each, then toss on the 25% off and by golly we got a bargain also hit hobby lobby and got a buick gsx and a 50 olds on clearance....

  11. Terry, I think we are all going to your place, we will bring supplies [paint/glue/food/beverages/campers] and we will have a weekend build......you just have to provide one kit per person [and some space for campers/tents ]
  12. great build! looks awesome Bill. guys, I've seen the truck in person, and it is dynamite, I can't wait to see the trailer and excavator in person at the next local show.
  13. I feel better now, most of any one kit I have is 3 copies, I do usually end up with two of each just incase I really mess one up and need a part.
  14. there are some incredibly talented builders here, it's always a treat to see what some of these folks build, just amazing stuff.
  15. Clayton, I have the same problem, a few done, and a few left to build..... so, let's see everyone elses 'to do' pile, lol.

  19. Sam, ya, I was fiddling with the fit of it earlier, it will need some tweaking for sure also got my mud flaps done,

  21. it's looking good so far. for future reference, cut the alignment pins off just about everything on these AMT kits, as nothing really lines up, lol. they can be built into good looking trucks, just need extra patience some times. she's looking good though
  22. well, it's got a power plant got a few more bits drying, and waiting for glue to dry on others, might have more to post later.......
