  1. actually, the italeri kit with the crane may work as well.
  2. amt/ertl mack R model kit, a peerless/roadrunner logging trailer kit, and a few aftermarket parts will get you where you need to be.
  3. you know, if you based all the prices on those kits per the bay, the guy is pretty well on the money for that auction. sure, no money to be made re-selling them, but close to what the over all average for those kits is [as much as I hate to say it]
  4. this is going to be a cool build, i can't wait to see it done
  5. actual words out of my mouth when I saw the first picture......oh wow! great looking rig!
  6. love it! only missing one thing,...........cab/hood needs some weathering to match the rest of the truck/trailer. looks great.
  7. Sean, great score. that's on my list of must haves as well.....
  8. Clayton, looking good man, keep at it. Jeff, great looking weathering, and thanks for the tips. wife thought I was nuts taking her nail files and tweezers, stealing her hair spray may put her over the edge......
  9. 3rd pic of the cabs, looks to be a white/freightliner SD [day cab, single drive] last pic, brown and white is chevy titan. second pic, rear cab looks like KW K123, front right looks like white/freightliner DD cab. 4th pic looks like more W/F cabs. hope this helps some.
  10. ...hehe..mirrors, oh the agony, feel your pain on those, horrible little buggers... paint job/decals look fantastic! she's gonna be a beauty when done!
  11. nice job, that's a good looking pair
  12. you gotta love it when the wife starts bringing home kits
  13. Terry, I usually show restraint when 'shopping', most of those kits were bought quite reasonably. the score of the bunch was the prestige auto hauler kit, [truck, trailer and both cars, complete minus decals], landed that one for $150 [that included shipping cost], and no, it wasn't an e-bay purchase, just right place/time kinda thing. I do like it when an e-bay item 'slips thru the radar', have caught some real good buys on things.
  14. nothing real recent, but here are a few of my snags so far this year,
  15. I like it, I really like the stripes on the sleeper, nice touch.
  16. does this mean you'll have a booth at fulton? good looking stuff, and close to home as well [that may be good and bad at the same time.... ]
  17. wow! nice selection of kits/builders you got there. you will be busy this winter for sure!
  18. my 'office' view, this view doesn't change much, but the cars in and out change quite often.
  19. shawshank cool hand luke Indiana jones [all of them] big lebowski cars transformers [all] blazing saddles bourne trilogy blues brothers and although not really a movie, I watch the 'crossroads' guitar festivals from '07 and '10 quite a bit [Eric Clapton puts it on, good stuff]
  20. I will have to inventory what I have, I am in need of about 14 states and have multiples of many states. will try to make a list of what I have this weekend and post it, maybe I can come closer to completing my collection.
  21. well used looking pair. another stunning job, just love them.
  22. looks great JT! so nice to see the return of orange
  23. i did a KW K123 awhile back, built up pretty easily, and turned out nice. only issue was the shift tower/floor hole, but with a little work, it's no biggie.
  24. looking great! BMF'ing the bed rails sure is fun, isn't it? look forward to seeing this come together.
  25. absolutely love the color combo, beautiful job all around. I must admit, the Camaro build pales in comparison to the work on the dart though fantastic work on the sheet metal replacement, that is going to be a beautiful car again when you're done, great save!
