  3. thanks guys, your comments mean a lot to me after seeing the work you fellas do. Pavel, what can I say, I like them clean and shiny Kostas, if it ever stops raining here, I will get some outside pictures......most of the week has been a bit damp, lol. Marshall, c'mon I know you are close to done, button her up so we can do a photo shoot I also think I have decided on how to paint the trailer....gotta get a few things tomorrow, if it works out, trailer may be done by the end of the weekend
  4. she's done, what do you think?
  5. thanks again guys, look for an under glass topic, 'cause she is done will post more pic's there when I make a thread. thanks again for following along.
  6. coming together nice, you build some cool stuff
  7. LOVE the colors, beautiful combo!! looking excellent so far. you may want to check the truck behind it though, it seems to have run over a trailer
  8. weathering looks pretty darn good! looks great so far!
  9. thanks, I will file that in my memory [hopefully lol] for future use, looks great.
  10. nice rig, love the color combo and rack, well done. I must say, it looks terrific with the tanker, and the tanker looks great as well, those kit's are tough to build. nice job on both.
  11. thanks guys, much appreciated Jim, door decals will be determined by how I do the trailer, still rolling ideas around on that, and thinking of how to incorporate some sort of logo, so time will tell on that. well, I think tomorrow night is going to be the last bit of work to complete this build [as far as the truck itself is concerned], I have the entire cab together now, back wall is detailed and installed with all the fairing braces etc., got the tail lamps painted, exhaust crossover glued on finally, cab door handles BMF'd and painted, prostar door emblem decals on, wipers on, and got the lenses in the visor [man those are some tiny bits!] and decals on the hood. So it looks like tomorrow is going to be final cab fit and glue to chassis, add mirrors and visor, and hope it all looks ok then it will be trailer time, stay tuned, and thanks for following along.............
  12. welcome to the dark side, lol. I have one of these kits as well, and plan to do a mustang to go with it as pictured on the box art. when that will happen, who knows, but have the kits to do it. so many trucks, so little time..........
  13. looking great so far! firewall is beautiful, and interior is looking fantastic!
  14. looks great, I love 66 chevelle's [had one, shoulda never sold it......] color looks pretty close to 66 regal red, nice job
  15. thanks guys. lawn mowing took priority over model time this evening, but I have 1/2 the glass in it [vent windows and windshield], painted the sleeper windows with tint last night, have to paint the tail lamps in red [did a silver base coat] and need to BMF the bezels around the lights on the rear cab wall, I think after that, it's fit the cab to frame, and finish up the little details [mirrors and what not] then call it done.......stay tuned.......the end is near
  16. ok, keep plugging along, we both seem to be in the home stretch with these I just went back thru the 9 pages of this build, now I want to see it complete

  21. ya, and the instructions don't really help a lot sometimes either.........
  22. thanks everyone looks like rain tonight, so, maybe some glass install and finish up the hood parts. should have a teaser mock up pic to post later on this evening
  23. that's a beautiful rusty hulk, nice work!
  24. I don't have a lot of spare parts yet, but I bought a couple of nut/bolt organisers [the plastic 'tower' kind with the pull out little drawers of different sizes], so far it's helping. if you have a large quantity of 'loose' stuff, might be time for an industrial parts bin
