Thought I’d posted this, but guess I didn’t, lol. Finished in fathom green with a dark green interior. Used model car garage PE set and a MAD pre wired distributor. Another well engineered kit that goes together pretty nice. Thanks for looking.

Thank you all for the very kind comments, very much appreciated. as to the wheels/hub caps, I did some online research, and it seems that style hub cap was called a deluxe wheel cover and was available from 68-74, now, weather or not the info I found is accurate, I can’t say with certainty, but, the wheels in the impala kit were close enough for me, and let’s face it, probably most of the classic Chevrolets we build end up with rally wheels, and I wanted something different this time around ( not to mention detailing rally wheels is a pain , lol) . Here is a pic I found online of the wheel cover,

Great looking C5, lot of people don’t care for the body side moldings, but I think they add that little something to accentuate to body lines. Not to hijack or go off the rails, but here is a pic of mine,

Very well done, you really captured the look of the 1:1. I really like that build, just fantastic!

Thanks guys, I mocked it up again on the bench to see how things were looking, might just get back on this soon.

Finally had some daylight time to take a few pics. Finished in Marlboro maroon and tan interior. I used the wheels from the AMT 70 impala, everything else was in the kit. Built up nice , highly recommended. It is the yenko version kit, this kit has a way more complete decal sheet than prior issues. thanks for looking.

Thanks all, this one is almost done, waiting on new chrome pens so I can fix all the bruises on the bumpers and things.
