  1. Looking good, keep the hammer down
  2. Here is all I have ( so far)
  3. I’ve made my own service lines in the past, but the ones that AITM have are fantastic.
  4. You’re off to a good start, looking good.
  5. That is simply gorgeous, love the cables and binders, well done!
  6. I had the same problem , that ‘nose’ just has too many curves/corners I think for the decal, cause I soaked the daylights out of mine and got the same results as you did. PS my original post wasn’t knocking the job you did, just trying to let you know I knew how tough that decal set is to apply to that hood having done it recently myself.
  7. The worst part of that decal, is it is two parts, a left and a right , and they must overlap, not to mention trying to get them to conform to the hood shape . I had a heck of a time with mine, and never got it to conform perfectly.
  8. Great looking build. That hood decal is a son of a gun ain’t it?
  9. Looks great! You’re too critical of your work ( much like the rest of us), you’re building good looking stuff. i see the problem with the disaster, the genny can is probably the culprit, lol
  10. Mine is just a play on my name, t for tom and bill for the beginning of my last name, guy I used to work with started calling me tbill, so I use it on almost all the forums I’ve been on or go since I got online.
  11. Well done! ( on both the execution and the memory part)
  12. From what I see so far, you have this well in hand. I am really looking forward to seeing this project evolve.
  13. I’m liking what I see so far, nice details.
  14. Oh, and do not go looking for green eyed girls with that rig.........lol
  15. By eyeball, I think I’d take about 1/2 of that sleeper addition height off. Decals look killer.
  16. man, I am liking that wheel color! Now, slow down, you’re making some of us look bad, haha, keep at it, looking good
  17. Funny you say that ( our earlier conversation aside), I’m thinking of doing one of the AMT ‘old pro’ nova kits in flat black and putting it on the back of this eventually. Want the whole build to look like a shoe string budget race set up when done.
  18. Great color....check gobs of chrome...check killer interior...check detailed engine...check love it great looking build , that color is fantastic.
  19. You’ve done it again! Those are awesome, what a great idea, and perfectly executed.
  20. So, this has been rattling around for what seems like forever. I built the frame and engine, then built the body, chose a color, and painted the thing. Well, that’s where things went off the rails, haha. The cab and hood came out nice, but the hauler body turned into a train wreck. So, in the pond it went, for about 8 months. Couldn’t get all the primer off of it, and what was left had fish eyes and all sorts of funny looking spots on it. So I let it soak more, and at one point decided to toss the cab and hood in as well. So, not too long ago I decided to pull it out of the pond and asses the situation. Cab and hood were clean, hauler body still a train wreck. What to do I asked myself? After some thought, I figured, let’s try some ‘stuff’ I haven’t tried yet. Broke out the tamiya powders and had at it. So far, I like it, but it’s a work in progress. Still need to dirty up the hood and wheels/tires, but I putter with it in between stuff. Here are some mock up pics of where it’s at ( cab/hood is just tossed on to complete the look as it were)

Thanks all if I ever do another one, I’ll pay more attention to the wheel opening modifications.
  22. ......sits at bench building while hoping snow melts/blows enough to keep from having to move it by hand...... this is what goes thru my mind whenever we get any kind of accumulation, lol
