  1. Thanks guys, I know they will work, was hoping to see some photos to get some perspective, if that makes sense.
  2. Kind of an odd question, but, as most of the’ NorthAmerican’ trailer choices out there are AMT , and as would happen, most of what I have ‘in stock’, does anyone have pics of AMT trailers behind Italeri conventional rigs? I’d mix and match some of the builds I have, but due to the way they are displayed currently, it’d take me a week to test out how they’d look. So, I was wondering if you folks had some pics of Italeri rigs with AMT trailers handy. I’m leaning towards a revell car hauler behind the western Star, ( I know, not AMT), but was also thinking maybe the AMT flatbed, or extendable trailer ( I know ERTL), so anyway, post some pics if you would
  3. Lot of black parts on this one....will need a few more coats for complete coverage.
  4. Oh man! This is gonna be another great one to watch come together!
  5. Lol, he’ll be mad as a hatter this year with all the ‘stock’ builds I’m going to bring......hahahaha.....
  6. They are a bit of a loose fit, I’m sure after walking around the room a bit, it’ll shift some. The roof of the gold one is off kilter as I left the entire top of that one loose so I can remove it to see the interior, so that is always moving around on me.
  7. After doing the ‘copo’ version of this kit, I decided to do a yenko version. Currently have almost everything in primer, the body I painted about a month ago. Once all the other bits are painted, it should come together rather quickly.
  8. Looking good! Built one of these not too long ago, nice kit.
  9. In other topics about elcamino conversions, some folks have just grafted the headlamp area onto the body, then added to or removed material to the hood sides to fit. Not sure if this helps out or not, but I too have several ideas for elco conversions.
  10. Welcome aboard Ronnie! Glad you signed up, lots of good stuff here, and the people are great. Make sure and post some pics of your builds in the ‘under glass’ section, I know these guys will love them.
  11. I bet you change the whole kit, hahaha.... look forward to this build
  12. Now that the prostar and trailer are off the bench, I’m itching to start this one....
  13. I like the dump version
  14. Trailer is done, and mated to the truck. Pretty happy with how it all turned out. I used Double Take Replicas wheels on the trailer, home made logo and made a spare tire carrier for it and used service lines from AITM. Thanks for looking.
  15. It’s done. Added a spare tire carrier and used line o tape for the safety stripe, I love how it’s actually reflective. As usual, thanks for looking, and I’ll post more pics in an under glass topic.
  16. If you look at the kit instructions, there is a bit of a ‘loop’ that attaches to the front edge of the trailer, this is the point for a hook to lift the trailer onto the 5th wheel plate on the truck.
  17. Nothing to it guys, an hour a day gets a lot done. Granted, last year I missed the model bench for almost 6 months, since last October I’ve built 8 cars, one rig, and about done with a trailer. I couldn’t build last years TAT rig in a year, but got it done in less than a month once I got after it, lol. Just have fun, if it gets done, it gets done?
  18. Dirt, I think not! Haha..... it’s getting closer.....
  19. That’s going to be sharp, I like the color.
  20. It’s looking good, I like your changes to the cab, I find it way more visually appealing, you’ve made it look ‘normal’.
  21. Well, he took the picture, so......... just kidding, I do hope you’re able to get all three done though.
  22. Looking good Jim, keep on it?
