Anyway, thanks guys, appreciate the positive comments. as to the decal situation, inside the body there is a an area that is molded slightly differently that is the ‘template’ for wheel well modification, for some reason I was thinking this would also approximate the shape of the decal, it’s close, but no cigar

Fine looking ‘bird! The box art for this kit does nothing for me, had I not seen a few builds of it, I’d of never bought one, glad I did, and your build reminds me of how cool this kit can look.

Try whatever you have on hand, build in layers if you have to, if careful enough should hide the hole/divot completely

Lol, seeing that it’s mid winter, I got nothing else to do after work. Instead of rotting in front of the tv, I go to the model bench and putter. This usually results in me getting things done . yes, I use plastruct bondene, thin liquid that sets pretty fast, so it does speed up the process some.

Fair amount of work done on the trailer, it’s a bit narrow for this truck, but gonna run with it and see how it turns out . Got cab/hood and sleeper in second coat of color. 80% of the interior bits are painted as well. Making great progress, so I should hit a wall soon, lol.
